Hmmnn .... those were the days.
GenZ can't comprehend... The good old days. LWT, OGTv, NTA2, NTA 7, ClapperBoard, ...
ReplyDeleteClapper board studio πalways showing foreign movies then. So loved that station
DeleteChai... Clapperboard! I enjoy that tv station before they closed down.
DeleteI can't remember either! My sisters loved it ehn
ReplyDeleteThe days of NTA, now it feels like the TV station doesn't exist anymore. Can't remember much of the storyline too.
ReplyDeleteThey seem to only focus on news programs and discussions now, with a few old dramas sprinkled in. Back in the day, they actually showed movies. And very interesting dramas, both local and foreign. They had Telemovies with our local actors who were really good, and engaging scripts. Was reading facts posted by Stella on IHN, and saw one mentioned where original Dr Who series episodes were found in Jos. I used to watch them on NTA. I believe that was the station where they recovered those missing episodes. They used to play some jazz music for interludes and till date I am still trying to find them because I don't know their titles ( and with jazz there are no words to search).
DeleteI don't know this soap opera but my mum sings the theme song π
ReplyDeleteNot my era though our Ada always gisting with her friends.
ReplyDeleteMama bitrus was Ene Omoba
ReplyDeleteBirths was Sadiq Dana
Uncle Gaga
The 80s was the best years in Nigeria, when Nigeria was still bound in freedom, peace and unity.
