ReplyDeleteSo, over the weekend, I made a decision to stay off my phone, no opening of social media at all. I even wanted to see what life would feel like because, after all, there was a time we lived without smartphones and we were perfectly fine.
We read books, watched TV, spent time with family, and honestly, life was lovely. So why does it now feel like these gadgets have become the air we breathe?
I told my husband and children about my plan and they laughed at me 😀 I guess they felt it was impossible because my phone and I are practically 5&6
Anyway, to cut the long story short, I actually did it! Saturday and Sunday, my phone rested and my eyes rested too, except for occasional glances at WhatsApp to check important messages .
There’s this K-drama the children have been begging me to watch for years now - The Fiery Priest. I finally started it and I’m enjoying it so much that I’m wondering why i didn’t listen to them since.
And surprisingly, I didn’t even miss social media at all, except SDK blog of course.
Currently catching up on all the missed weekend gist.

As for recommendations, let me know if you have a preferred genre .My own preference is those palace dramas; the politics, betrayals, love triangle etc😁 I can list a lot of those . I recently started exploring other genres but i have kdrama addicts here that knows a lot.
