The actor whose death is still a shock was laid to rest a few hours ago in Arochukwu, Abia state... It was an all white affair.

DeleteI'm thinking maybe Alexx ekubo would have loved longer if Nigerians show him the kind of love they've shown him now that he's dead when he was alive. I never knew he was this loved judging from the way he was constantly being trolled online, he was called different names. All of a sudden everyone has good things to say after his death,hmmmm . Nigerians!!!! Aye akamora!!! May his soul rest in peace . Even his spirit will be shocked to see how loved he has became after his death

ReplyDeletePlease this is an innocent question. Why do Christians keep the dead in the mortuary for long before burying them? I mean why not bury them the same day they are dead so their soul can start finding rest and the grieving family can start finding closure?

DeleteI think they're kept in the mortuary for different reasons. Some of the deceased kids may be outside the country. Some, their place of burial may not be ready etc
Christians don't bury or mourn as people without hope. No Christian's soul is restless with or without burial. Your eternal fate - Christian or not , is if you received Christ by faith which is the only way to have sins forgiven since the blood of animals only covers sins and the effort of man to secure salvation/ forgiveness through good works is null and void- no imperfect sacrifice can satisfy the unbending standards of a perfect God. Each child of God is in Christ so they are already united with his spirit, having been sealed with the same spirit of promise and having Christ in them which is the hope of glory. The dead in Christ are kept by him who overcame death and rest till they rise first at rapture. Their eternal salvation is sealed by God. Even the sea will give up it's dead so no matter how the earthly body is disposed of, they are secured rest.
