Okonkwo had an interview on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily programme on June 8, 2026. In that interview, he claimed that Udenwa, and some Southeast leaders were extorting money from people who wanted to run for office under their party. Udenwa says these claims are completely false and damaging to his reputation.
This is the second pre-litigation letter Mr Okonkwo has received since he granted that Interview..

Where is Kenneth Okonkwo expecting to see ₦10 billion from all of this? ₦5billion on both cases. I have no problem with anyone accusing people, but when you do, make sure you’re capable of handling the outcome. Be ready to provide proof.
ReplyDeleteWhen he accused H.E. Peter Obi of collecting bribes, I knew he had gone insane. The same Peter Obi that donates millions to institutions on a monthly basis, something the government can’t even do.
This is the man Kenneth Okonkwo claims is asking for a bribe of ordinary ₦10M.
A man that rejected an oil well.
A man that was impeached for refusing to inflate his state budget as governor. A man that refused to sign a pension law passed by state legislators that would have entitled him to numerous benefits.
All of a sudden in 2026, some people now claim that such a man is scamming people for as little as ₦10M.
If Nigerian politicians are intelligent, they’ll know that the worst thing they can do is try to frame Peter Obi as corrupt.
Obi has proven himself to Nigerians. So anything you throw at him concerning integrity will backfire.
Why is Kenneth Okonkwo trying so hard to go back to living in bondage? Can he handle the legal issues from these past two governors?
