OPHK Rescues 360 Abductees in Massive Mandara Mountains Operation

Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have freed 360 abductees from a fortified Boko Haram/JAS stronghold deep inside the Mandara Mountains in southern Borno.

The rescue followed weeks of intelligence gathering, covert surveillance, and coordinated planning. Special Forces launched a night assault that caught the insurgents off‑guard, forcing many to flee while others surrendered.
Men, women, and children were evacuated to safety, though two infants sadly didn’t survive the harsh terrain after prolonged captivity.
The military says follow‑up operations are underway to track fleeing terrorists and dismantle remaining networks.

    1. You think the military and security agencies are not working on that? Must they reveal their covert operations? They dont want to storm the forests and endanger the lives of the teachers and kids. These type of operation requires special planning and intelligence. Some Nigerians would just open their mouths like imbeciles and condemn the govt and hardworking military risking theit lives for us. Boko Haram would have run over the entire country but for the military and govt support, though there are 5th columnists within the military and intelligence architecture

  9. How I despise those who prey on and harm others. Thank God these innocent souls have been rescued. Kudos to the work being completed and the captives can return home. I hope they get all the medical and psychological help they need.
