The Lagos State Police Command has dismissed viral claims on social media that bandits invaded communities like Ibeju-Lekki, Imota, and Oke-Afo.
In a statement, police described the alerts as false and meant to cause panic. They assured residents that schools and communities across Lagos remain safe with security in place.

Sadly, the fake news led to the killing of a 24-year-old okada rider, Kulaha Ayuba, who was wrongly accused of being a “Fulani bandit.” Fifteen suspects have been arrested over the incident.
According to Vanguard, the Command warned against spreading unverified information, saying it fuels fear, ethnic tension, and violence. Commissioner of Police, CP Tijani Fatai, urged Lagosians to stay calm, obey the law, and report suspicious activities through official channels.

Hmmm, if that guy was Innocently kpied. A repraisal attack may be Imminent
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts exactly.
DeleteFulani people in Nigeria had add a tag to their name wherever you find them. Heartless killers including some of their leaders who are actually the brain behind their criminality. If you want to rule a country is it by violence or kidnapping innocent and harmless people with your illiterate foot soldiers?
ReplyDeleteI do not trust for one second that they are not in Lagos. They may be dormant waiting for a trigger but they’re there
