UGM Reportedly Abduct Former Minister Adelabu's Sister and Her Twin Sons

The hand of Kidnapping has touched former Minister Adebayo Adelabu as Unknown gun men snatched his sister Mrs. Olaide Busayo Adegoke John-Paul and her two young sons early this morning in Ibadan, Oyo State.

She was driving her 12 year old twin sons, Peter and Paul, to school around 7:30 a.m. when the gunmen struck in the Elewura area of Challenge, Ibadan.

Eyewitnesses said the attackers came in a silver Toyota Corolla, fired shots, forced the family into their vehicle, and drove off. They left her red Hyundai car behind.
The family quickly confirmed the news through Chief Adelabu’s media aide, Comrade Femi Awogboro. In a clear statement, they said security agencies have been told and investigations have started. They asked people to stay calm, pray for the safe return of Olaide and the boys, and avoid spreading unconfirmed stories that could harm the efforts to bring them back.

Mrs. Olaide worked at the Central Bank of Nigeria and First Bank Pension Custodian before retiring last year. She had moved back to Ibadan with her children and was planning to join her husband, Mr. John Paul, in the United States.

  15. It sounds coordinated and targeted.

Honestly, folks should get out of routines. Drive different routes, times, cars if possible. Even those who rely on public transportation should vary their comings and goings. Not always the same road, sometimes come from the unexpected direction, sometimes don’t come back, sometimes don't leave home. Trust nobody 100% in your circle. Don’t talk about business deals, big contracts or make big withdrawals openly. Travel without any fanfare and for the love of God stop posting every blessed thing online. Crooks don’t even have to do any hard work these days, they just need to have social media.

I really hope they are rescued safely and quickly.
