Hmmmmmm....
STAND ALONE NARRATIVE
JEALOUS FRIEND
How do i fix a jealous friend situation? Or should friends who have shown us who they are be let go? How do i start again?
My closest friend is jealous that i got married before her and has been secretly hurting me...I dont want to detail the things she has done just to make me regret getting married and probably ask for divorce..
Should i approach her and discuss this or just let her go and move on?This really really hurts and i am trying my best not to blow it among my family cos it will get messy.
What do i do`????
Discuss what? Dont even give her closure. just move on.....I also need you to tell your family what she did to you..Do not cover up for wicked hurtful, bitter people.....

I think you should move on from her.
ReplyDeleteYou said she is jealous, and secretly hurting you, so what is there to discuss?
ReplyDeleteDear Poster, do you know that not every friendship is meant to last forever?
ReplyDeleteCreate distance from such a friend, because sometimes, the healthiest choice is to love and forgive someone from a distance. Setting boundaries is not unforgiveness, it is wisdom.
Pray and protect your marriage, and don't allow bitterness to take root in your heart. The right friends will celebrate your blessings, not hurt you or compete with you.
Please my dear take your marriage to God...
With God nothing is impossible.
Detachment is often overlooked, especially in traditional societies where relationships are prioritized over personal well-being. It is wild how people can be expected to maintain connections even when they are toxic. Detachment is a form of self-care that should be prioritized above all. No drama, no confrontation, no telltale, just you removing yourself from people's lives quietly.
ReplyDeletePoster, make a powerful move by choosing self-care and removing toxic people from your life. No drama, just a quiet prioritization of your own peace. That's a win in my book. Someone who is hurting you deliberately should not be called a friend, not to talk of being your closest pal. Remove yourself, quietly!
Stellz said it all..
ReplyDeleteYou still they ask questions? Please block the witch and never disclose anything about you to her.
ReplyDeleteI don't know why peeps gets jealous for what is never theirs. rejoice when good things happen to others, and same measures will be replicated to you in good time.
DOZZYBEST.
Poster if the friendship isn't helping you grow financially etc and all you both do is to gossip about things and people, please cut it off. I have a friend who all we majorly do is to talk about our relationship with men, watch movies, go out to get stuff or sit out and eat barbecue fish and things that doesn't really help my growth. I sat myself down one night and decided to put and end to it
ReplyDeleteLet her go. Cut her off.
ReplyDeleteA jealous person can kill.
Poster, friendship no be by force, zero your mind and move on.face your marriage.
ReplyDeleteDem never poison you daz why you still dey ask shulai this or shulai dat. Mtshewwww
ReplyDeleteYou dey mind her.
DeleteUntil the jealousy turn into full blown hatred and she tries to kill you that when you will understand what jelouseness does..
ReplyDeleteContinue asking silly questions instead of running for your dear life.
If someone has repeatedly shown you through their actions that they want to hurt you and undermine your marriage, believe them. You don't owe them another conversation or an opportunity to explain themselves.
ReplyDeleteQuietly cut ties, protect your peace, and move on. Not everyone deserves continued access to your life. A true friend celebrates your happiness, they don't try to destroy it. Sometimes the healthiest response is to walk away without looking back.
Some One You Know Personally Is Hurting You Face To Face
ReplyDeleteInstead Of Running Away From Her ...
You Dey Ask Jamb Question....

Hello iya Boys
Discuss with your family but maje them promise never to confront her. No need to Discuss anything with a jealous friend, pretend she doesn't exit and move on. You will be fine, stop trusting people to much.
ReplyDeleteI don't know why you think she's jealous of you. This mindset is common among people who got married before their friends. Sometimes you people assume things that never existed. Until I hear about how she deliberately hurt you then I would know if you really know what you are saying or not.
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing wrong in telling her how you feel about her actions and hear her out so you can get clarity if she's doing them intentionally or not . You should ask her so you would know exactly why she suddenly changed. Ask her if she truly was a close friend you. I don't like the idea of keeping a friend in the dark over a matter that troubles your mind . What you are assuming may not really be it.
Expect your kidneys dey her hand . If not please leave her.
ReplyDeleteMadam teacher, it is except NOT expect.
DeletePoster, according to Jordon Peterson, most people who go through post traumatic stress disorder, do not have it because they were hurt. They have it because they encounter someone who is very prepared to hurt them.
ReplyDeleteHe went on saying that people go through all sort of horrible experiences and will not be traumatised until they entangled themselves with someone who is malevolent, they usually not the same after all.
Were eze gi guo ire gi onu.
You have to tell her so that 1. She will know That you know, and 2. So that she can help herself by becoming a better individual if she can.
ReplyDeleteWhat she is doing isn't so strange to us in Africa. That’s why we have a name in Igbo, "Ilokanuno", or the short form "Iloka", meaning that the enemies within are more than those outside
ReplyDeleteYours is not an isolated case. Ceasar's friend Brutus became jealous of him. Joseph's brothers became jealous of him. The pharisees and sadducces became jealous of our Lord Jesus Christ.
ReplyDeleteBut, as we have seen in history, it is not healthy
ReplyDeleteIf left unchecked, it will graduate and start looking for your blood
ReplyDeleteThat's why you need to talk to her
Use love to counsel her. Try to give her hope in the truth that every man has his own time of visitation from God. Don't judge her
But still let it be clear to her that it is Satan's spirit that is operational in her while she is manifesting the vice.
You need to withdraw from her first
ReplyDeleteWatch her as an outsider. Don't trust her, but still help her in any way you can.
ReplyDeleteIf you both don't have the same spirit and your values do not align, there is absolutely no point in becoming friends again. But if these are one, you might reconnect in the future.
ReplyDeleteAfter talking to her, please, forgive her. It is for your own good.
