The legal notice, dated July 14, 2026, was issued by Paradise Law Firm on behalf of Sophia Momodu. According to the letter, Caroline posted a message on Snapchat that many people interpreted as referring to Sophia, sparking widespread online reactions that subjected her to ridicule, insults and emotional distress.
Sophia had contacted Carolina asking her to put out a post stating that her snap chat call out was not directed at her but Carolina ignored suffer to suffer the Online insults, trolling and dragging.
Sophia’s lawyers described her as a respected businesswoman and mother whose reputation was damaged by the viral post. They outlined three major demands:
• A clear retraction and public apology on Snapchat and in two national newspapers
• Payment of N10 billion as compensation
• A written commitment to stop making harmful statements
Caroline was given 48 hours to respond or face full legal proceedings. The letter also offered an option for both parties to settle the matter amicably.
Caroline posted a message many linked to Sophia, saying:
“I defended you on national TV but you’re sleeping with my man.”
They should stop it with over these overpriced law suits, it's ridiculous!!!

ReplyDeleteMaybe she has voice notes and emails, videos to back up her lawsuit. You can sue someone for defamation without your name being mentioned, has been done successfully many times before, but you need additional evidence.

ReplyDeleteSophia, u did d right thing , since u said u & ur Lawyer contacted Caro to tell d world that was calling Sophia all sorts of names ,that she was not d one or mention d name of d person, yet she refused. For those of u saying that no name was mentioned,I know u were part of d gang that feasted on d story, calling Sophia all sorts but wants her to keep mute , just so u stick to ur narrative bcoz of whom u are supporting. It is more honorable to pass certain posts than lying to urselves, even when u know d truth. Meanwhile, rumor has it that Caro was paid to do that job & it is believable bcos she claimed Sophia was sleeping with her ex while she was still married, she knew but pretended not to know. This was almost 10 or more years back but u came on d show last year, fought & nearly broke bottles on Dabota bcos of same ex , yet defended & made friends with Sophia on d same show.
