US Supreme Court Blocks President Trump’s Attempt To End Birthright Citizenship

The US Supreme Court has struck down Donald Trump’s attempt to limit birthright citizenship, ruling 6–3 that anyone born on American soil remains a citizen under the 14th Amendment.


The court said citizenship is “the right to have rights,” rejecting Trump’s executive order, which lower courts had already paused.
The decision marks another major setback for Trump after recent clashes with the court.
