I come here on the regular looking for a place to breathe, not to be torn down. I'm not depressed, just tired. Tired of carrying things alone, tired of being judged when I finally decide to speak. That’s different, and it’s valid. Even the strongest of people sometimes get emotional and tear up.

Depression is a strong word. No, I’m not depressed. I’m okay. Sometimes we don’t have control over how life treats us. I wouldn’t say life hasn’t been good to me, but when your dreams feel so hard to reach, it starts to feel like you’re not doing enough. Some of us have no helper. We are the helpers people look up to. That’s why we keep holding on, believing in a better tomorrow.

Even if I was dying today and sent out an SOS, people here would still call it a lie. That’s how I’m being judged here, as a liar. No one is proud to share their sad moments. There’s no trophy in that. I saw this place as a comfort, as family, where one could unburden their heart, seek advice and possible help as the case may be. But it seems people are judged differently here.

Going forward, I’ll learn to face my fears and battles alone. Sharing it has only brought me attacks and ridicule here.
