Actress Nimmy Ferrari Reportedly Dies After Alleged Fibroid Surgery
Nollywood actress and influencer Nimmy Ferrari has reportedly died after complications from an alleged fibroid operation.
The tragedy happened just days before she was set to open her newly completed home in Sagamu, Ogun State.
Reports also claim she has been buried inside the same Sagamu house.

ReplyDeleteMay her soul rest in peace. I think our women should leave fibroid alone if it is not causing excessive bleeding and pain. I carried my three pregnancies with fibroids and gave birth to healthy kids. I still haven't removed them, no bleeding, just occasional abdominal pain and bloated tummy. My gynaecologist says they will shrink at menopause.
ReplyDeleteSome devilish fibroids are devilishly located where it is difficult for the woman to conceive unless it is removed. This is the reason most people go for surgery even when they arent experiencing pains or excess bleeding. God will help us.

ReplyDeleteLooking at this from a spiritual angle, there are some things in life that may go beyond our physical understanding. Imagine being buried in a house you were preparing to open and enjoy. It is heartbreaking.
ReplyDeleteWe should be prayerful, discerning, and careful about the people we allow into our lives. Sometimes, situations that appear ordinary may have deeper dimensions that we do not fully understand. While we may never know exactly what happened in this particular case, it is a reminder to remain spiritually vigilant.
Looking at it from the physical and medical angle, however, I also ask: Do people still die from fibroid surgery?
Sadly, complications can occur with any major surgery, even with today's medical advances. But this is also why we must be extremely careful about the healthcare facilities and professionals we entrust with our lives.
I speak from experience when I say that the fact that a place is called a hospital does not automatically mean that every procedure performed there is being handled by appropriately qualified and experienced professionals. Patients and their families should ask questions: Who is performing the surgery? What is the surgeon's specialty and experience? Is the facility properly equipped to manage complications and emergencies?
A procedure should not be undertaken by someone simply because they have observed a specialist perform it before. Surgical competence requires proper specialist training, experience, credentialing, and appropriate clinical support.
When something goes wrong, medical terminology should never become a substitute for accountability or a clear explanation of what happened.
May God give us wisdom to make the right decisions concerning our health, guide us to competent and compassionate healthcare professionals, and protect us and our families. May untimely death never be our portion, in Jesus' name. Amen.

But it is still an invasive surgery where you have to cut through layers of skin and even the Uterus. it quite a sensitive operation and can leads to loss of blood which is a complication on its own. Very sad that a young woman had to die because of this. May her soul rest in peace.
