Investigators traced him through photographs showing him in a blue lab coat inside a meth‑making setup. Location data from the images led NDLEA operatives to a property under construction at Isiata Ugoni Okposi, linked to John Samuel Ivo Okike.
When officers visited the site on August 30, 2026 they found strong chemical smells and a temporary structure built over the septic tank area.
CCTV footage captured a foreign national matching Loaiza’s description and Okike supervising the late‑night movement of chemicals and equipment on August 21,2026.
Further intelligence exposed a second hideout where NDLEA recovered methamphetamine, precursor chemicals and full laboratory equipment including dehydrators, condensers, reaction pots, mixers and drums. Seized chemicals included 442.8 kg of acetone, 37.1 kg of toluene, 31.5 kg of hydrochloric acid, and 200 kg of P2B.
This raid follows similar NDLEA operations earlier this year in Ogun and Oyo, both linked to Mexican nationals, reinforcing concerns about foreign cartels targeting remote Nigerian communities for meth production.
