Neobank Sends Legal Notice To X User Over Claim It Paid ₦5 Million For Fake Shutdown Story

On September 3, 2026 NeoBank OPay issued legal notice to an X user Danny of Owerri for claiming the company paid ₦5 million to spread fake shutdown rumor to sell the brand.....
OPay demanded that he deletes the post and provides evidence ....
It threatened further legal action for non-compliance ...
The the X user is yet to comply.

    I don’t know but. I think I somehow can beleive what Danny said. How was that company able to gather celebrities so fast to debunk it. When they could have just done a press conference
