Police in Lagos have arrested a 15‑year‑old boy, Majekodunmi Taiye, after he was caught with a locally made pistol hidden inside a loaf of bread.
Operatives of the Ebute‑Ero Division picked him up following a tip‑off from residents.
During interrogation, the teenager confessed that a friend named Samuel from Mushin allegedly gave him the gun and asked him to deliver it to someone in Oshodi Terminal 1 shortly after he returned from school.
Police say investigations are ongoing to track both the Mushin contact and the intended receiver, while the boy remains in custody.
The person that gave him the gun should be tracked ASAP.

ReplyDeleteThe bread was too heavy. I'm so happy to see the authorities searching everything and not trusting any situation. How many ppl's lives were saved because that gun was intercepted. Keep praying folks, cause you do not know how your prayers will bear fruit.

ReplyDeleteNigerian Police could have traced and arrested the main culprit(s) behind this rather than circulating this video on the internet.
That was what they should have done. They should have bought a bread and give the young man to deliver that one, tail him until he reached the destination and made the delivery, then nabbed the culprits. I do not know why they did not do that, or they did not want the little person to be caught up in a potential crossfire situation. But they should have attempted to get to the head not just secure the tail.
