The dispute escalated on Friday, September 18, 2026, after a heated argument over finances.
Ashabi accused Portable of sending only ₦200,000 between January and September, claiming she paid school fees for three terms and covered feeding and clothing mostly on her own. She warned that she might involve the police or court if he continued ignoring the children’s needs.
Portable responded with a voice note on Instagram stories, insisting DNA tests must come first.
He wrote:
“Now I need DNA test asap so I can take care of those kids because I do not trust their mother. I cannot take care of another man child.”
He also questioned Ashabi’s movements during their relationship, saying she often disappeared for days under the excuse of movie work. According to him, resemblance is not proof of paternity.
Portable rejected any idea of co‑parenting friendship, calling Ashabi “my enemy for life.”
The online exchange included screenshots from both sides, revealing private DMs about their past relationship and current conflict.
