  1. Heavenly father, we thank you another beautiful Thursday morning.
But I will rescue you on that day, declares the Lord, you will not be handed over to those you fear. I will save you; you will not fall by the sword but will escape with your life, because you trust in me,declares the Lord. (Jeremiah 39:17–18)
Beloved of God, whatever the enemy has planned to bring us shame, tears, disappointment or embarrassment, may the Almighty God turn it around for our good in Jesus name πŸ™.
May the Lord rescue us from everything we fear and cause us to end this day with reasons to rejoice and glorify his holy name in Jesus mighty name we prayπŸ™

  2. Keep Looking At Him!!
    2 Corinthians 3:18.

"Growth in Christ is relational. The more you know Him, the more you’re like Him, and the more His character, wisdom, glory and nature are expressed through your life. That’s true Christianity; it’s the unveiling of Christ in you."

"Christianity is a call to walk on water, a call to look away from the natural elements, circumstances, pressures and challenges of this world, unto Christ!

    Prayer!!

Dear Father, thank you For calling me into fellowship with you and transforming me by your Spirit. As I continually behold your glory through the Word, I’m metamorphosed into the same image, manifesting your excellence, beauty, wisdom and glory. I walk above the circumstances of life and glorify you continually, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

  4. THE CRUCIFIED LIFE

'I have been crucified with Christ.' Galatians 2:20 NKJV

Paul wrote: 'I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me' (Galatians 2:20 NKJV). It's hard to get offended when you're dead. It's hard to get angry, jealous or irritated too. Why? Because you're dead! The day you put your faith in Jesus is the day your old self died. Your desires, dreams and plans are dead. The person who goes down in the waters of baptism is not the same as the person who comes up.

You are a new creation in Jesus. Of course, you must step into this identity on a daily basis. Paul said, 'I die daily' (1 Corinthians 15:31 NKJV). Jesus said, 'Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily' (Luke 9:23 NIV). The key word in both verses is 'daily'. There's great freedom in this daily death. Your performance is no longer a statement of your worth. Your ego is no longer on the line. Your reputation is no longer at risk. You are living for the approval of one - that is the Lord!

Hence, Paul could write: 'God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world' (Galatians 6:14 NKJV). Then to drive his point home, he wrote: 'For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God' (Colossians 3:3 NKJV).

  6. I am not the same, you have changed my name
    You call me your beloved
No longer ashamed, you’ve taken all the blame
So I can live in freedom
I’m grateful for your grace, now I sing your praise
    Feels like I am dreaming
See what you have done, look who you have saved
Now I am a sign and wonder

    Refrain:
You are good, you are good, all the time
    Forever, and ever, forever
You are good, you are good, all the time
    Forever, and ever, forever (Repeat)

    You are good (Daddy)
    You are good
    All the time

    Eeeeei yeyeyeyeye
    You are
    Onye na eme mma
    You are
    Onye na agwo oria
    You are

    You are so good,
    You are
    Oluwadara
    You are
    Oluwadara

You are good and your mercies endures forever.
    You are good
    You are good
    So so good
    All the time

    I will testify
    You are good
    You are good
    All the time.

    Song by Nathaniel Bassey

  7. Long post alert. Read if interested

. Sometimes, some people’s show of concern is not genuine and not from a place of love. At times, it’s because you’re where they want you to be; you’ve been boxed into the angle they like you to be in, and they’re happy you’re no longer a threat.

An aunt lost her husband some time ago. This took a very bad toll on her health, and she almost ran mad. In fact, during that period, she was wearing clothes upside down. When she passed, people would be greeting her, showing her concern and pity. If she wanted to do something, her neighbours would quickly step in to help her.

With counselling and family support, she was able to see herself as living again. She was a fashionista before her husband’s death, and her husband loved her for that. She started wearing her beautiful dresses to work and church. At times, after dressing, she would stay in front of the mirror and say, “I hope her husband can see her,” and that she knew he liked her in those clothes.

She was still mourning, but she only changed the way she mourned and started doing what her husband loved her to do.

Hmmmm, that was when the people who usually told her to move on and be happy started gossiping. The greetings on the street turned to cold stares. Some stopped answering her greetings because she was no longer sad the way they wanted her to be. Even in church, married women started avoiding her. Just a few were different.

We started hearing different gossip, and most of us who knew what the woman passed through tried to defend her. But the way people treated her was so painful to her that she left the environment.

Mind you, the house they were living in was their own, but she couldn’t stand the silent treatment she was getting just because she decided to appear happy and not sad and gloomy like she used to.

We spoke recently, and she told me she’s planning to sell the house, but she doesn’t want to erase her husband’s legacy on that street. The people living there are not managing it well.

I really feel for her. Though she’s doing well where she is now, the way she was treated at that time really made me understand that sometimes, people’s concern is not always out of love. Though some people are genuine, not all are.

    1. Many people actually love to see you sad. Only a few genuinely want to see you happy

    2. This isn't new any longer . Have learnt that, people love to see you sad and in challenges so as to pity you and have something to discuss about.

      God will help us all.
This is why so many people has decided not to show to people whatever they are passing through (just myself)

    8. Una dey see life??? When you’re broken, hurting, or stuck in a rut, certain people will flock to you. They will validate your pain, cry with you, and make you feel like they are your biggest support system. You go con begin think say you don find your tribe. Lol. They make you think they have your back but na lie o. They are not comforting you because they want you to heal; they are comforting you because your pain makes them feel better about their own messy lives. Your struggle becomes their comfort zone. They are perfectly happy to see you hurting because your pain mirrors theirs. Your brokenness makes them feel less alone in their own unresolved trauma. It gives them a companion in the pit. You know when they say "Misery loves company." Ehen! That kain thing.....But watch what happens the exact moment you decide to dust yourself off, and start picking up the pieces of your life....Na that time you go con begin understand the difference between 6 and 9. You go begin understand PERSPECTIVE. That is when the energy shifts..their energy changes. The "support" turns into subtle shade, distance, or outright hatred. Bad belle becomes the order of the day.

See ba? True friends want to see you win, even if they are still struggling. If someone only celebrates you when you are down, they don't love you...they just love having company in their misery.

I like the fact that your aunty was courageous enough to grieve on her own terms, and moving away to protect her peace was her bravest choice.

    5. There are three things I, Godswill, can never worry about: the first is YESTERDAY, the second is TOMORROW, and the third is FOREVER. I live in the moment. Time only asks us to live this very second. The rest is out of our hands. I trade the weight of forever for the lightness of the present moment.

Worrying about tomorrow doesn't change what is going to happen; it only steals the strength you need for today.

The Bible encourages us to just focus on today's troubles and let tomorrow take care of itself. God gives us exactly enough grace, strength, and endurance to get through 24 hours at a time. When we try to carry next week's or next year's problems today, it breaks us down because we are trying to carry a weight he never asked us to bear yet.

Since you ended your comment with "God help me," hold onto that. That is a complete, powerful prayer all on its own. You don't need fancy words. Just take things one moment, one breath, and one day at a time.

The Bible tells us that the Creator’s thoughts toward you are incredibly beautiful. His mind is filled with thoughts of peace, safety, and a wonderful future for you....not of disaster or hurt.

The scriptures also remind us exactly why we shouldn't stress over tomorrow: because tomorrow is already taken care of. God explicitly tells us not to worry about what we will eat, drink, or wear tomorrow, because he already knows exactly what we need. If he takes such perfect care of the birds in the sky and the flowers in the field, think of how much more he will protect and provide for you. You don't have to carry the weight of tomorrow because "The All Sufficient One" already owns it, his grace is sufficient for you. And he is already standing in your future waiting for you.

He knows exactly what has been happening in your life lately, he sees the tears, and he is right there in the trenches with you. Lean into his peace today, and trust that the God who holds your tomorrow sees you. And in his mercies, he will take away this blanket of worry and replace it with a peace that surpasses all understanding. It is well with you.
