Finland Court Reduces Biafran Agitator Simon Ekpa’s Prison Sentence From Six Years To Four

Biafra agitator Simon Ekpa has had his six-year prison sentence reduced to four years by a Finnish appeal court, which upheld his conviction on terrorism-related charges.
Finnish newspaper Yle reported that the judgment was delivered on Thursday, October 15, 2026.

Ekpa was sentenced to six years in prison last year after he was found guilty of terrorism-related offences and aggravated tax fraud. He later appealed the ruling, leading to a reduction of his prison term from 6 years to four years.
