Maybe it’s the society we are in that makes it difficult for us to express ourselves freely.
Give a mama a hug today because you never can tell what’s going on behind those smiles."

DeletePostpartum depression is as real as daylight. My younger sister was sooo traumatised after having her second baby that she couldn't even bear to sleep close to the child. Thank God for His mercy she was able to gradually overcome it.

Thank God another celebrity is mentioning it. Same thing that was part of Sophia Momodu’s Story Telling, that some “set” of fans were crying over. She said she went through it after her baby, not knowing what was wrong with her but d only line that caught their interest of haters was “global celebrity”, & she has included it in her Foundation’s program to her recipients. No knowledge is wasted.A whole lot of women go through Post Partum without knowing, while treating something else.

ReplyDeleteAll those hormones coming back down is not easy. You’re not depressed because there is something wrong in your mind, it’s just the biology. Have other folks around you, eat clean, exercise regularly and the hormones will go back to where they should be in no time.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy. you turned around your story around and come from under the shadow of the other person. May God bless your new life and your children.
