The memorial was attended by several gospel singers, including Adeyinka Alaseyori, Esther Igbekele, Laolu Gbenjo, Akintayo Akinwande, SB Live, Bidemi Olaoba, Mr Gbera, Peterson Okopi and Sarah Apekeola.
Yoruba Nollywood actress Bimbo Oshin was also present.
Toluwanisings (whose real name is Olayemi Bayonile Bolaji) died in Ibadan on October 14, 2026, after reportedly slumping in the early hours of the day.

This slumping and going is becoming a matter of grave concern. Why are so many who showed no signs of illness just slumping and going. It’s not even a Nigerian phenomenon, it’s a global thing. Makes you wonder if the rapture is happening quietly.

ReplyDeleteHonestly, this guy's death hit the inner chord of my being and I don't even know him, I just started listening to his song the week he died, he just entered my playlist on Spotify the Sunday before his death and I'm like, who is behind this voice, and I checked his name. So, when I read on the Wednesday that he passed, I was not normal for more than 12 hours. That is me that is an outsider o, how much more the wife. I pray over them for comfort, safety and peace.
