Media Mogul Mo Abudu Speaks On Dating, Heartbreak And Self‑Respect
Media mogul Mo Abudu has opened up about heartbreak, dating and self‑respect during her conversation with Toke Makinwa on Toke Moments. The EbonyLife founder made it clear that at 62, no man has the power to break her heart. She said any tears she sheds now would be because of her work, not a relationship.
Mo questioned why some women stay with men who lie, deceive and cheat, asking what they are still doing in such situations. She warned women not to force relationships or lower their standards for men who have already checked out emotionally. “If he wants to be, he will. If he doesn’t, leave him and move on,” she said. She also spoke about her dating preferences, saying she cannot date younger men ( not even 45 ) and would only respect a man who has achieved something meaningful. She says that she prefers men her age or older, and explained that she does not want a partner who becomes a burden. Mo also reflected on her upbringing, traditional respect, and how younger people should address elders properly.
Way to go. Lot of women lower their standards due to loneliness and desperation. If he doesn't want you. Respect yourself and move on. A man that loves you will never stress you.
