Choosing Love Lifts The Weight Brought By Hate
Hate is a heavy load. It drags the heart, poisons the mind and makes even simple moments feel exhausting. But love has a way of lifting what hate tries to weigh down.
Choosing love doesn’t mean ignoring hurt or pretending problems don’t exist. It means refusing to let bitterness become your identity. It means choosing peace over pettiness, calm over chaos, and growth over grudges. Hate multiplies pressure; love dissolves it.
Every day, life gives us reasons to carry anger. But the people who rise above it are the ones who choose love deliberately, even when it’s not the easiest option. Love lightens the spirit, clears the path and reminds us that strength isn’t in holding onto pain , it’s in letting it go.
At the end of the day, choosing love lifts the weight brought by hate.

INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD
My husband and I went on our first prayer walk with the kids and I was glad. It wasn’t planned, it started with my princess wanting to buy cupcakes late at night and just to discourage her my husband told her she would be going alone and she agreed.
She picked the money walked out of the house, her siblings rushed after her, hubby joined them, then I decided to tag along, when we were done with what we bought I suggested we go for a prayer walk and they all agreed.
We spent the first part of the walk answering their questions about prayer walk, then started praying, the kids were not concentrating and were more concerned with watching the stars, cloud and the moon. But I wasn’t bothered.
I also spent my younger years watching the clouds and stars, admiring how beautiful they looked and coming up with the different shapes of the grey clouds while my mom held my hands during her prayer walk.
Doing the same thing years later with my kids just fills me with so much joy, hopefully one day they will do this with their kids too.
What is prayer walk oh?????

NOTORIOUS FOR JESUS
Last week, my daughter told me that her teacher had called her an idi!ot because she had asked her to open the door, but my daughter explained that she couldn't reach the handle because she was rather short.
Meanwhile, this same teacher had a confrontation with a senior student last week after calling him a fo!ol, but he stood up for himself, insisting that he wasn't one.
When my daughter told me about the teacher's use of foul language, I was enraged. I immediately sent the school’s founder a message on WhatsApp, to which he replied that he was in church at the time.
I never use foul language when addressing my children, so why should a teacher do so?
The following morning, I reminded the school owner about the incident. When my daughter arrived at school, the owner had already instructed the principal to call her in and ask her to explain what had happened.
According to my daughter, the owner nearly fired the teacher, but other teachers pleaded on her behalf.
I was happy that the matter had been resolved until my daughter told me about another disturbing incident. This time, another teacher allegedly stripped a senior student and began flogging him simply because he had said he didn't understand what the teacher was saying.
I am tired of this school and the unprofessional behaviour of some of its teachers, but I still want my daughter to complete her JSS 3 there.
I haven't been able to sleep. I feel terrible for the student who was stripped, but I am also hesitant because I have only just resolved a case involving my own daughter. I don't want to look away simply because the child involved isn't mine, yet my mind has been occupied with the incident.
After much deliberation and going back and forth in my mind, I have decided to visit the school tomorrow.
I cannot look away simply because the child involved isn't mine.
A Teacher stripped someone child? Ah that one is not school oh.....

DONT JUDGE
When life favours some people, they begin to think others are careless. They think others are not well trained.
One fact about life is that we learn everyday. Life has a way of humbling everyone.
I have seen a mother used to criticize other people's children, recently her child got pregnant out of wedlock, since then she has been quiet.
You can brag about good values till the opposite happens to you.
It's about grace and Mercies of God helping you and your family, not about bragging.
If you brag, when life hits you, you can become everything you once criticized.
Being a single mother is not a crime, most of them were victims of circumstance.
On repeat...Don't judge any circumstance you haven't experienced because when life hits you, you can become everything you once criticized.
Copied
Hmmm you can become what you criticise...

DeleteAddressing matter.
ReplyDeleteHmmmm.
Suddenly, everyone is now singing Epa's praise and apologizing up and down.
Quick question;
Does doing drugs affect someone's leg(s) in any way?
I do not apologize.
I do not withdraw what I said before.
My blames still goes to her mother who allowed her walk into what she was supposed to protect her from.
Go to test.
If testing and medication is not giving any improvement.
Go herbal.
If still no positivity.
Then go spiritual.
I wish her all the best.
I do not believe it is substance abuse that caused this and I do not believe pa Ned is a saint.
Epa was right all along because he said she does drugs?
Therefore he is now a good person?
Who did not know before the saga that Regina was a druggie?
Stella posted about it as rumour has it that she Regina was always high in order to be happy.
Even Regina herself accepted with her full chest that she did drugs.
So, what exactly is the real deal there that Epa was right all along?
Does it stop the fact that all the things happened?
Or do you not know of the rat that bites and blows breeze to the place to cool it?
How do our mindset work if I may know?
Exactly the reason politicians use us to play in this country because in next second we are singing praises of their one irrelevant gesture they make over years of incompetence.
I do not move with the tide, so I am in observation mode.
Me I still have my reservations about the whole situation that it is a move.
This 👌
DeleteI was weak when I saw them praising him. I blame her mother, and he sef why marry a child young enough to be your grand pikin.
DeleteToh!
Delete👍 👌. Spot on...

ReplyDeleteEhn ehn..Life can't be complete without swallow o. Y'all be missing on a whole lot. Which one is "I don't eat swallow?" Aren't y'all abashed when you say that? 👀👀
DeleteExactly, a day without swallow looks like I've been starving 😂
DeleteThat reminds me of Bright Chimezie'song. When he traveled to Oyibo's land and went to eat.'Oyibo people' that saw him eating ' swallow ' were clapping for him, they thought that he was performing magic'.
DeleteWe swallow daily, especially dinner.
ReplyDeleteGood afternoon everyone.
I love swallow and can make up to six different soups deliciously. Honestly, I can't go a week without swallow. At best, I can manage a day or two. By the third day, I'll desperately look for it.
ReplyDeleteI grew up eating swallow almost every day, and I wonder if I can really cope without it, especially if I were in the diaspora. I haven't tried okra with rice, but I have tried egusi with rice. In fact, there's an egusi stew that's so lovely and delicious when prepared well with mangala fish. Yes, I love swallow and I know how to prepare it.
©️ TEEJAY
I love swallow, though I don't eat it everyday or in large portions. Sorry about the tasteless soups and waste of money. It's a rainy afternoon here. Enjoy the rest of the day, everyone.
ReplyDeleteI swallow because I don't have any other options, same with my children
ReplyDeleteYou swallow because you don't have any other options?
DeleteThe soup you use to swallow isn't made with money .
Why don't you use that same money to cook any other food you feel like eating
Everything na begi begi for ona.
I dont like rice, nor pasta, swallow yes, but not every day and not every week. Yam, yes, beans (any type) and plantain best food, then sweet potatoes (baked)..Swallow is actually way better than rice!
ReplyDeleteI started eating a lot of swallow recently (because of the soups anyway). I was told to always eat plenty vegetables and there is a lady that makes good vegetable soup around my office. Because of her now, I eat fufu almost everyday. Make I no go blow up ooo.
ReplyDeleteWelcome IHNs.
Good day everyone.it is another week to continue the hustle.May God bless us .
ReplyDeleteIt rained heavily this afternoon and it gave me relief.I almost thought that there won't be rainfall again. It ceased for days and made the weather somehow hot with a little touch of mild breeze disguised as harmattan.
ReplyDeleteIn anticipation of the most dreadful heat wave,I'm already missing the rainfall and I wish it would continue raining all night when the hot weather takes over.
NEPA hear me now and hear me clearly, ' ara puta kwa na m'....stay hydrated.
ReplyDeleteHow's the weather in your area?
Good afternoon everyone
ReplyDeleteHowz the go dey go
I like swallow, I can eat swallow almost every day no stopping..
I eat swallow every day if it is available. The most important thing is let the soup be very sweet. I can even eat it three times a day if there is no other food. But twice a day is the most I can go on swallow by choice.
ReplyDeleteForgiveness is the secret of love.
ReplyDeleteYou forgive for your own health sake, spiritual and physical.
God bless you for this 🙏
DeleteIHN
ReplyDeleteGood afternoon everyone 🥳
Happy Men Crush Monday to all the amazing men here 🥰🥂
Almost all the comments here are team 'swallow'.And someone somewhere born and bred in Naija is doing ' sele-nse' referring to 'swallow' as local food,c'mon come off it.

ReplyDeleteNotorious for Jesus, thank God you stood up for your daughter, stripping someone's child to beat them is appalling. I can't imagine someone doing that to my babies, Olopa ma ko everybody ni oo.
ReplyDeleteI can't eat swallow everyday. It would lose its taste to me but there are times I just want to eat it but with my favorite soup 😋
ReplyDelete
