According to the agency, the list was compiled after surveillance, public complaints, and mop-up operations across markets, factories, and warehouses in several states. The counterfeit products cut across food, drinks, drugs, cosmetics, and household items. Some of the items were found to be produced in unhygienic environments without NAFDAC approval, while others were imitations of popular brands.
NAFDAC warned Nigerians to be vigilant and always check for NAFDAC registration numbers, batch numbers, expiry dates, and proper labelling before purchase. The agency said it has shut down the illegal factories, seized fake products, and arrested suspects, adding that prosecution is ongoing. It also urged the public to report suspicious products or manufacturing activities to the nearest NAFDAC office.
God help us.

So basically everything. No wonder folks be slumping and going without warning or explanation.
ReplyDeleteSo what's left? We are just surviving on God's grace.
ReplyDeleteAnd the other day one anon complaimed about this, that IR came and said he doesn't know where the anon buys his/her stuff from. That everything he buys is original..what a rat!
ReplyDeleteExactly what I said the other day.

Na God hand wey dey for.this country .
Basically everything we use everyday!
ReplyDeleteAfter releasing the names, what are they doing to curb this madness??? We're surviving by the grace of God in this country.
Really. They should raid markets and remove them.
ReplyDeleteThis is serious. God help his children
ReplyDeleteThis look like an effort to tarnish the image of these companies because I have always know that majority of the products listed here are the best so far. Peak milk and Dano are one of the original milks we have in the market today, are they trying to tell us that some unscrupulous elements now produce the counterfeit of them? They should be specific in the information they are passing. I only read the headline and the list though
ReplyDeleteSo what are they doing about it?
