I don't even know why people fail to see that, just like women, some men remain single simply because they refuse to enter unsuitable relationships. Or do you think it's only women who have standards, refuse to settle, and stick to their decisions?
The only thing I agree with is the need for due diligence, not because a man is over 40, but because it is the sensible thing to do when dating anyone, regardless of age.
I think there are women in their 40s who are still single, too. Does that mean they have defective characters?
Life isn't black and white. It's quite complex and unpredictable.

One guy cried wetin no good for inside bus today. A man's phone was ringing and it seems like the ringing tone triggered something in him. The owner of the phone refused to pick the call and it rang for three time. The third time, a guy just shouted "pick up the damn phone", shortly after that he burst into heavy tears. Wetin happen, wetin happen now? He cried for a long time and when he finally came around, he explained himself.

She was crushed by a car on their way to vigil and that music was what was playing when she gave up the ghost in his hands, right in the car of the man that hit her. The guy cried ehnn....chai. It broke us. Its been years but he kept saying how he misses his sister and why she was taken on their way to church.
