WAKE UP CALL TO MEN

A man I know cheats on his wife, starves her emotionally and financially, has children outside his marriage, and yet sat before me one day bitterly complaining ''Madam, my wife does not respect me.”
He even said the other woman never disturbs his home, yet everywhere his wife goes she tells people who he really is.
I listened quietly and wondered; What exactly does he think respect is?
Because somewhere along the line, many people started believing respect is something a woman owes a man regardless of how he lives.
It is not. Respect may be commanded, but genuine respect is earned.
I don’t know how many men are pursuing Christ with the same passion they pursue alcohol, side chicks , status, money, or fleeting pleasures.

But I do know this; Many women are not fighting the idea of submission.
They are struggling to find something godly to submit to.
The Bible never told women to submit to tyranny, neglect, betrayal, selfishness, or spiritual laziness.
The same Bible that says, Wives, submit yourselves, also says, “Husbands, love your wives as Christ loved the Church and gave Himself for her.
Christ did not demand loyalty while living contrary to everything He preached.
He became the example, served, sacrificed, loved and gave
He carried the cross before He wore the crown.
That is leadership. Not shouting. intimidation. Not control.
Not constantly reminding everyone that you are the head.
A true head carries responsibility before claiming authority.
Many men are asking why their wives do not respect them.
Maybe the harder question is this if God behaved the way some men behave at home, would we trust Him?
If He only showed up when He wanted something…
If He constantly broke our hearts…
If He abandoned us emotionally…
If He betrayed us repeatedly…
Would we run towards Him or away from Him?
The Church follows Christ because Christ first proved Himself trustworthy.
Love came before submission.
Sacrifice came before authority.
Character came before honour.
That is God’s pattern. This is not a call-out.It is a wake-up call.
Our generation does not need more men demanding respect.
It needs more men becoming respectable. More men who know Christ.
More men who fear God in private.
More men whose wives and children experience the love of God through the way they live.
Because the greatest tragedy is not a woman refusing to submit.
The greatest tragedy is a man claiming to lead while refusing to follow Christ.

The world is not suffering from a shortage of men.
It is suffering from a shortage of men who look like Christ.
I want to ask you sir ? Are you loving your wife the way Christ instructed?
When someone you love deeply decides to go silent on you…
no calls, no texts, just blueticks — it hurts in ways words can’t explain.
You start questioning everything — “Did I do something wrong?” “Did they stop caring?”
But sometimes silence isn’t about you. It’s a reflection of them.

When love becomes one-sided, learn to pull back with grace.
Don’t chase where peace no longer lives.
Don’t beg for attention from someone who chooses to ignore your presence.
Real love communicates.
Real love doesn’t disappear without explanation.
If they value you, they’ll reach out if not, let their silence speak the truth.
Protect your heart. Heal quietly.
And when you rise again, rise stronger and wiser.

SOME UGLY TRUTHS OF LIFE

· ‎Health is all you have.
· ‎There will be no one applauding you for your hard work.
· ‎You get to know what people are really like once you go through a tough time.
· ‎Money, power and looks will not matter in the long run. We’re all going to be old, seeing grey, seeing things differently one day.
· ‎Your parents are growing old and need you to take care of them. Don’t forget.
· ‎Not everyone is going to have a huge success story and that is okay.
· ‎You will experience many failures. What matters is how you get up, not what happened to you.
· ‎Life is tough. You can be high on life one second and losing everything the next second. Always be prepared.
· ‎Try to stay open to life and not get bitter. Bitterness is poison to the soul. We are all meant to live a good life, whether you believe in it or not.

SINGLE MOMS, IF YOU CAN, AVOID DATING MARRIED MEN.

My people, this is not about judging anyone. It is about protecting your peace, your dignity, and your future.

These are some of the nuggets I share from time to time:
Complicated relationships often come with complicated pain.
Are you aware you deserve a relationship that is open, honest, and fully available, ehn Segilola? Not one hidden in shadows.

Ngozi, your children need stability, not uncertainty.
Ruth, sharing someone else's commitment often leads to emotional stress, secrecy, and disappointment.
Habiba, don’t build your happiness on another woman's heartbreak.

Oluwakemi, you have fought too hard to rebuild your life to settle for half of someone's attention.
Aisha, a man who is unavailable cannot offer you the security and respect you deserve.
Chioma, protect your heart from situations that begin with confusion and often end in pain.
Ajoke, loneliness should never lower your standards.
Josephine, choose peace over promises, clarity over confusion, and self-worth over secrecy.
Yemisi, you are not a second option. Wait for a love that can stand proudly in the light.
Nwaamaka, never let loneliness negotiate away your values.
Oluwatoyin, you have carried enough burdens already. Don't volunteer for another person's complications.
Rukayat, your children are watching how you value yourself. Teach them that love should come with honesty, respect, and peace.
Adebisi, the right relationship should add peace to your life, not secrecy, guilt, and confusion.
And, if none of these makes sense, please continue with your shenanigans. Eere wa nbe

WEIRD FACTS

----Charging a power bank to 80% instead of 100% reduces stress on its lithium cells, extending its storage life

--- Confidence is not ‘they will like me’. Confidence is ‘I’ll be fine if they don’t’ — things everyone should know

---- Avoid the unhappy and unlucky. You can die from someone else’s misery.

----Negative people are contagious.

  3. Good day everyone. Permit me to rant a bit about Man Utd, their fans, captain & even coach, what is really going on with your team? It’s so sad now. And please, it’s all banter with this, but did you see the video where Rufai Oseni said Man Utd fans thought because Pastor Jerry Eze used their stadium for prayers it automatically means miracle will happen for them? He further said 'What God cannot do does not exist' doesn't concern Man Utd😱

Remember it's all bants so pls don’t take it too personal. But the way you people mocked my team for this same UCL, you people are now there freely doing giveaways of points up and down in Europe and also in England back to back its really sad oo😔

Tbh yesterday, me and a friend literally said this exact same thing Rufai jokingly said while the match was going on, to banter our Red Devil friends and other fans of Man Utd when we saw the game together against Como yesterday. Oh what a sweet game of football from Fabregas team👏

Only for Bruno, after the game as a captain in his interview was trying to throw Carrick under the bus so they will sack him or what, before he does our own giveaway for us in 9 days’ time? Abeg we need that 3 or even 1 point too...Carrick replied Bruno saying he is a disgrace. Na so some of my friends when be CR7 fans say na so Bruno dey do their goat.

But my Man Utd fans, I genuinely feel sorry for you guys bcos I know what you guys are going through even though you mocked us first. It is well, and it will eventually get better🤞🏼🙏🏻

Have a lovely day, everyone 🙌🏼

      Life is not fair.
As a human, you've endured so much pain, you've been patient, made sacrifices and then the reward is not even showing signs. Me, I just tell God my mind and vex well. Later, we go settle and then i pray for patience to wait till he is ready to bless me.
What I know is that our hearts desires will be granted to us. Let's be patient and keep believing in him.

I have been here, exactly where you are now... And I asked same exact question. So believe me, he see and hear you clearly.

Keep pushing and praying, everything is going to be fine.

I even got to a point, I didn't want to hear anyone telling me to keep praying because I got tired of praying. But I keep fighting in the spirit.

You're on Anonymous, I for try see how I can be of a little help.

The difference between me and many people; I was loud about my situation.
Even on this blog, I was bold to say what I was going through.
But I wouldn't advise you to do that because people are really wicked here. Them go laugh you, and even use your situation to mock you. But they're not GOD.
May God Almighty come through for you.🙏🤗😘

    3. Both are correct, it just depends on where you are.

Okra is the correct standard English spelling. This is what you will see in dictionaries, textbooks, and international recipes.

Okro is the pidgin / West African spelling. This is what we all use in Nigeria and Ghana when we say "okro soup."

Have you ever experienced something that you never understood till today?
*Things I Saw Working In The Hospital That Still Confuse Me Till Today*

One hot afternoon, I had an afternoon shift and I went to work earlier than usual. It wasn't yet time for the morning shift to hand over, and my other colleagues had not arrived.

So I went to the back of the hospital balcony to relax. I was busy on my phone when I saw a bike stop outside. A fair guy came down from it and entered the hospital gate.

I was surprised because bikes were banned in Enugu town, but I didn't give it much thought.

About twenty minutes later, a scream came from a patient's relative in one of the wards. Everyone rushed to find out what happened, I followed too.

The relative said the patient on the bed had moved. He had been unconscious since he was rushed in early that morning. I was told he was an accident victim.

My colleague on duty started attending to him. I looked closely at the patient on the bed, covered in bruises, and I was shocked to realize that he was the same guy I saw come down from the bike 20 minutes ago.
Told my mom when I got home and she said it was the guys spirit I saw that came down from that bike, coz those selling things outside our gate said they didn’t see any bike drop anyone there in the afternoon.

Till today, I am still confused and wondering.

  18. Suddenly, the Nigerian Presidency is acting proactively by holding an emergency meeting on how to tackle the 'Ebola' thing, but such energy wasn't seen in fighting the insurgency head-on. What a country. Insurgency that claims more lives in Nigeria than sickness is what the government has turned a blind eye to.

I still maintain my position and I don't care how anyone feels or how they want to spin it. This whole 'Ebola' issue will eventually end with the Federal Government imposing political restrictions on campaigns starting next week. Keep your ears to the ground; before this week runs out, you will hear it. They don't like the NDC proposed campaign that is already gaining momentum in the northern part of Nigeria. Since APC has already stated that the President won't be campaigning himself, they want to justify their action by stopping other parties from campaigning. If APC had performed well, they would be happily campaigning, but since they have nothing to campaign with, they will look for every means to prevent others from campaigning. This is all their calculation. In the coming days, you will remember this comment.

Whoever is still supporting APC must really be something else, I must say.

    2. Ebola and Emergency Fund Act.

The Ebola that appeared was because Lagos boys wanted to activate the Emergency Fund Act. So they created a non-existent Ebola from Uganda.

The Ugandan government has denied that they ever had a case of Ebola, but the Senate has already activated the Emergency Fund Act.

      So fast.

    3. I so much loved what the Emir of Katsina told them yesterday when they visited his palace. He told them nothing but the truth. I love the boldness and wish other traditional leaders would speak truth to power like this. When it comes to bold statements, please give it to the North. I love them for that.

If APC had done better, I would have supported them even though I didn't support them in 2023. They have only proved me right for not supporting them in the last election.

    4. Under Goodluck Jonathan, the first Ebola patient (index case) in Nigeria was Patrick Sawyer, he was a Liberian-American.

He was treated at First Consultants Hospital in Obalende. The doctor who died after treating him in Lagos,, was Dr. Stella Ameyo Adadevoh (may her soul continue to rest in peace).

Under Tinubu, no one knows the name of index case. We don’t know her nationality & travel itinerary. We don’t know the name of the doctor

Uganda has equally said they have no active Ebola case. You can see the incompetence of the Bola Tinubu adminstration. they leave room for guesses, speculations, & international embarrassment. This has implications for investments, tourism, & National security.

The Senate is already seeking emergency funding. This whole charade also has huge implications for the forthcoming elections.

I hope it is not what I am thinking! 🤔
When are they going to come clean??!!

    5. So because they couldn't tackle insecurity issues they should not fight to prevent Ebola virus from spreading, which is also life threatening?
