The boy had lived with chronic asthma since he was born and cold weather or sweating often triggered attacks. Blessing said she learned that while she was away, her son had been using two inhalers.
She shared that he passed away peacefully around 6:30 in the morning on a Monday in hospital.
She also revealed he had a dream before he died that he was going to die. He told his brother , his aunt , and his grandfather about the dream. His aunt prayed for him. But he did not tell Blessing about the dream….
Blessing said she did not come out of prison excited but came out knowing she had lost something she could never get back. She admitted she felt upset with God at some point and even stopped praying and said that she also struggled with guilt, wondering if things could have been different if she had been free.
She said that she is trying to move forward and wants her late son to be proud of her wherever he is……..
