Jonathan Versus Lamido....What Really Is Going On?

The can of worms has finally spilled over and Sanusi Lamido has been slaughtered.......eaten by the snakes waiting to eat the worms.

President Jonathan waited for him to travel out of the country and cleverly relieved him of his job...well thought out plan....dont you think?

There is something going on and Sanusi's sack today will defintely open a bigger can of worms.....the microfilarae type and i wonder who else will go down with the rest.

Did you say that hell hath no fury like a woman scorned? #yinmu

Wait till you see a scorned man.

Sanusi's tenure terminates in a few months......shouldnt he just take a walk?.

He says he will contest his sack,do you think it is a smart move?
If the President says No,which judge will say Yes?

Come on,lets discuss this abeg.

    1. Anty Stella i have a few disturbing questions for our lawyers here: 1)Does President GEJ have the power to unilaterally suspend a serving governor?2)where in.the BOT Act do the CBN Governor needs the Senate assent to sack Bank MDS?
This Sanusi sack just tells us the level of corruption in government and the financial sectors in Nigeria; the only reason why Sanusi is been humiliated to this level is because he has turned his back on the government.if you do your finding you will know that Sanusi was worst than NNPC and the Stella Oduah put together, was it not the same Sanusi that thwarted the constitution when he sacked four back MDS and took 64b without consulting the senate? The only thing now that is crystal clear is that Sanusi is being sacked for exposing corruption which seem to be a political move, why was he silent all these while?when the government carried him along did he talk?
My only anger is that President GEJ does not understand the financial and market implications of sacking a CBN governor because it has immediately dropped the naira as we speak;am sure so many Nigerian bankers are so happy he left the system;i love SLS but he's also practically corrupt and his sack was well served.
Its Nigeria, where speaking the truth can get you killed, where your honesty is ridiculed, and a country where graft rules.
Please Anty Stella serve him one of those your ugly seats abeg,Jonathan did the needful period.

    2. BLOG ANALYSER: kudos to u Stella for ur investigative and informative reporting. I know their wahala started shortly after u reported that Sanusi was giving Elrufia contract because they will soon become inlaws. Elrufia uses the money acquired through contract to work for APC. A party fighting Nigeria's president. Any way, I wish them well.

    4. @Kaycee. I am happy that u noted that sanusi turned his back against the govt, hence the latest development. Need anyone ask further questions about Gej's 'unconstitutional' removal of the CBN gov?? He was playing to the corruption gallery before now, as they all did the same frauds abinitio. So I do not have any iota of pity for him, whether it is legal or not. This is not ignorance speaking, but the fact that sanusi tried to paint himself holier than thou in recent time. What effrontery? He who seeks equity must come with clean hands. I insist that Sanusi should blow his horn if he must, but not without stating his involvement with BH. Shikena

    5. The President has no such powers I dont know the wicked person who adviced him to make such a drunk decision.
Sanusi challenging it is not for him to be recalled but to set a precedence so that the CBN can maintain its autonomy and not be subject to Presidential whimps and caprices.
Stella, the President is just a man not greater than the country's constitution, time and time again Judges have overturned presidential directives they did so during Obasanjo Ve Atiku.
We need to educate ourselves more and stop being spectators in our own lives.
You have a meduim, help women and youths who come here to know more and demand more. Its a democracy, know all we need to know as this is the only system where citizens can actually participate and absolute power does not lie with anyone including Mr. President.
If I were him I would just blame this on Abati as this is unconstitutional and can get him impeached

    6. @Kaycee God bless you for such a wonderful comment. This administration thinks and breaths corruption, Sanusi inclusive. The missing money made public is just as a result of a relationship gone bad. How about the ones. We don't know about?
Whoever tries to expose corrruption becomes the haunted. Same thing happened in Oduah's case, the goverment went after the whistle blower first. And GEJ had the guts to give EFCC a pass mark? When they only go after petty yahoo boys and the main theives are being celebreted?
There was really a country! God bless Prof Chinua.

    7. Until the crime fighting forces stop being answerable to the president, Nigeria cannot stop corruption. For heavens sake, the IG of police takes orders from the president, and this is based on the law.....the Police Act, the Nigerian Constitution. other crime fighting agencies were at one point or the other, established by the various rulers we've had in the past years, and their puppets were kept as heads to run these forces and agencies. they need to exist as unique and independent forces, and their leaders need to be elected. not appointed. With this, they'll be able to arrest any corrupt politician without fear of losing their jobs or punishment from them. One step at a time.......let's start with the closest problem. If we don't act like the French commoners during the French Revolution, we won't ever see change! I'm tired of listening to Nigerians lament about the numerous problems in this country, especially corruption, yet nobody wants to step forward and start the change. Rebel! Instead we criticize those who try, call them stupid and many other names. Wake Up Nigerians!!! Wake up!!

He scares them, they can't stand him! He speaks his mind and doesn't care whose ox is gored.

His job portfolio as a CBN gov requires that he should be careful what he says but really NO-ONE can shut Sanusi up.

He already granted an interview, that's proof enough.

    1. Abeg Memphis, which corruption has he been against since his tenure? If you have followed Sanusi since he became CBN gov, you would have noticed his inconsistencies and sly modus operandi. Am just too tired to state a few of these right now, maybe later when I get the energy. But contrary to what u say Sanusi is far from being a legitimate whistle blower. Let's just say the tide of favor turned against him, and it left him with no other choice than to amplify the grand corruption with NNPC.

Yes it's politics, cbn governor hve been playin to d tune of APC, indirectly giving them all the funds they need 4 2015 against Jona, talk abt d contract given to elrufia, the way he was sack is not right no doubt, he should hve just been suspended wth no name send to the Senate 4 replace, that would hve mak sense more. Let's face the truth no man would let someone he appointed to a position be an instrument to ruin him. If the cbn gov was a very transparent, discipline person then I will hve shouted wat the hell, but the truth is dt he is not. How come he doesn't know how much exactly got missing under his watch? Why did he release contents of the letter to Obj to spite a sitting president! How many of you will tolerate that even in your household? They say " he who comes to equity must come with clean hands" What about the contract of billions of naira that was awarded to his in-law El Rufai? Why is the press not saying anything about it? Is it right because he is anti GEJ. Jonathan suspended SLS and did not sack him, he has every right to do that even the National Assembly doesn't have a say here! He should account for the billions of Naira he awarded to Northern Universities except uniben. My problem with Nigerians is the double standards.......xoxo

This was the same man that wanted to divide Nigeria with his islamic banking policy, the same man that awarded a 6 billion contract to his would be inlaw el rufai. The same man that made nigerians spend their hard earn money when going to bank to deposit their own hard erned money. The same man that is fucking another man's wife mrs yaro, and even employed her in cbn above pple that were more qualified for the position without following due process. The same man that destroyed and shut down healthy banks and rendered thousands unemployed with his obnoxious policies. Sanusi is the worse cbn govt in the history of Nigeria. 24. Hmmmmm.. GEJ is the only president in the world that sacks and replaces government officials like him single handedly without consulting the house of senate and national assembly. In Democracy, you follow due process! You can't just wake up one day and decide to relieve fellow government officials like you of their job all because they are not dancing to your tune. It seems GEJ has forgoting that despite the fact that he is the president, he can also be queried by the house of senate and worst still be removed from the seat of power? This has proven beyond reasonable doubt that what we pratice here in Nigeria is not democracy. GEJ is a dictator in traditional attire. Indeed we have a long way to go.

  34. It took him few days to remove Sanusi after opening the yansh of NNPC, without setting up his mumu committee, just like he did with Madam Stella. Jonathan is not a smart man. Now it established that nnpc spends 700 million naira on kerosene daily. These animals should fear God.

  35. My own is that Sanusi may act all intelligent and eloquent... Matter of fact, he is indeed a first class brain. And if he stuck to the 'rules of engagement' as the 'disciplinarian' that he is posing to be, perhaps I would even vote for him as president if he ever contested. But disregard all I just rant, Sanusi is no way near being better than GEJ. Mr President, as much as I despise his governance, knows sanusi as a cunny man that he is. We are safer with GEJ than this sanusi.

Sanusi is playing on our intelligence. He can talk about a corrupt system now because he is on his way out. He can criticise a government that he helped corrupt thus far. Now he's talking about youth empowerment..the heart and the most sensitive part of any country's governance, the youth. And dhearsome people fell for it.

Sanusi should also tell us what he knows about the sponsorship of the BH insurgency. He should pls not skip that very vital part of the robust ass opening he wants to do whenever he chooses to release his 'secrets'. Hypocrite of the highest rank. Abeg abeg

Dizeani Allison Madueke is the power behind the empty throne. Sanusi crossed the line when he beamed his searchlight on the petroleum sector via NNPC. This Ijaw government has vowed to eat as much money in 4 years as the Hausa/Fulani stole in 30 years of their plunder of this country. After all the wealth of this country comes from their region and they have sufffered in silence for decades. Sanusi who happens to be an Hausa/Fulani should have read between the lines.
