    1. I just thought to myself

      Is Ebola worse than BH?

Out of a population of 175 million, Ebola has killed 4 since August 1

How many people has BH killed since August 1?

How many people has malaria killed since August 1?

How many people have died from road accidents due to bad roads since August 1?

Sometimes we panic over things like Ebola while ignoring the bigger picture.

When the developed world say that the solution is good health care system, we abuse them and ask for short term fixes like Zmapp and Noni juice.

Just a thought from a bored native doctor

    2. Abeg Mr Doctor the need for the absurd comparison is unneeded and non relative, as it will sink one to further depression. But if u must know BH kills unsuspecting victims in their numbers, while Ebola on the other hand also kills unsuspecting victims, but not a bunch at a time.

Ebola can be avoided with extra precautionary measures while BH will take divine intervention to be avoided. Although they also can be avoided if our security agents, and of course our govt can go the extra mile to level them all at once. This is a political situation vs medical epidemic or whatever.
So I don't think there's much correlation that can be drawn between man made massacre and a scientific epidemic. Just like u this is my opinion

    3. This is an affront to Nigeria and I hope FG reciprocate this embarrassing police. Cameroun has never hidden her hatred towards Nigeria. Having born in Cameroon and spend my childhood there its a known fact that any Nigeria irritates these guys. We must close our sea borders on Cameroon!

    olofofo narrative...
i tnk d church shld be commended for her effort in fighting d ebola scourge.
The sunday bulletin today featured an erticle on ebola, how it can be transmitted and how it can be prevented.
Then d exchange of peace was ommited, instead of d traditional handshake, d priest streched his hand and said 'peace of the Lord be with you all'
no more reception of communion in d mouth, it will be dropped on ur left hand and u ll pick it with d right and eat it.
10 'hail Mary's' were said for our ladies' intervention.
Before the final blessing, the priest encouraged all parishioners to avoid body contacts as much as possible this season.
Then he told us abt d Dr dat was healed and ministered dat we shall soon gather to say a requiem mass for ebola to which d parishioners shouted a big AMEN!
