I'm naturally a jovial and carefree person, but once I step out and transport fare, food Stuff and other commoditieS have now tripled in price, I can't help but want to rant at times. Especially when one is jobless. So leave us to vent!

Some might that argue that your own support was blind when you knew about the level of corruption being perpetrates by your hero and the fact that 27 out of our 36 states had not paid salaries prior to the elections.

Grow up please. We are all allowed to make our own choices, whatever our reasons might be

We provide our own food, security, electricity etc so I don't care for any leader. Where in my message did I say I prefer one blind support over another (next time please comprehend before you comment) ? I don't have have a problem with support, I have a problem with BLIND support. 14. Basket mouth advice is just the best, any body that has nothing good to say should just start whistling instead of shouting chain. Be positive, say something positive to a promising government so that the chain you profess will not be your lot when those that have faith are experiencing the desired change in all aspects of life.

    1. Forget that 1, some people are at home in ignorance and suffering. Some people have been praying for the country's failure, regardless of the hardship that'll fall on their heads, just so they can say I told you so.

Some, Niger Delta Avengers, have gone as far as to destroy their own land in the pursuit of making the country ungovernable. The fact that it'll take 50 years and billions of dollars to clean up their land is irrelevant.

    4. I repeat there is no country that is a super power that hasn't gone through turbulent and hard times. The America u are looking @ today has gone thru d Great Depression era,U.K. Has had deir own turbulent and hard times,Germany, China, there is no industrial gaint that hasn't had that suffering stage that propelled them to move forward. Nigeria is like a country born into wealth but her children mismanaged her wealth and d kids are now struggling. The children Thut money wld always b dere but it finished 1 day, and they need sum1 who wld assist dem to get back on their feet with the small money left in their acct. that is the pt. we are @ now. We hv squandered our wealth, na d small 1 wey remain na imm b Buhari headache so,cos he must find a way to make the small money left work, multiply and yield fruit. Yes his services aren't supposed to come cheap, but he must cut down his own personal expenditure. That is a good starting pt. and shows ppl u hv empathy.

    2. Which is why we need to diversify our economy. Once we invest into agriculture the concentration on oil will reduce. Investors will emerge. Our export inter relations with other countries will boost our economy. It may not be our main source but it'll add to it. So I don't know why everyone is scared to venture into it. The government especially.

    3. I believe in Buhari, I don't believe in his monster of agriculture. I think d 2 worst appointments her made where that of s minister of finance and that of the ministry of agriculture. Those two I don't believe in them. I will continue supporting Buhari..

  33. SDK its very easy for you to be lecturing us from the comfort of an organized society. I really don't blame you oh. you are in far away Germany where the basics of life (water, electricity, fuel, etc.) are really 'basic'. in Nigeria the basics are 'luxury goods' and only the upper class can afford them.

one thing you need to understand is that its difficult to stand by someone who is not talking to you or hasn't been able to provide clear policy direction. Yes it will take more than a year for us to see certain things happen but it shouldn't take up to a year for a strong administration to provide policy clarity : to say clearly: ''this is where we are going, this is when /how we are going to get there''.

our president doesn't speak to us....except when he travels abroad. when there's a burning national issue, when a president should appear presidential, his spokes people release conflicting statements via social media. when we complain, femi adesina (the chief hailer) will send out tweets calling us 'wailing wailers'.

we're not asking for magic. we're asking for STRONG LEADERSHIP that communicates REGULARLY with their people. thats what reassures people and encourages them to stand by the change as you put it.

    1. Thank you, God bless you. We should know what the plan is instead of this systematic shut down of a whole Country while his children travel all over world in designer outfits.

  34. No pain, no gain. Buhari should tighten the grip more. I love it when Nigerians suffer because they think they are too wise even though majority of them are greedy, freeloaders and ignorant. God forbid they think with their brains. What country will be run like Nigeria and still survive? Everyone is looking for an opportunity to loot, scam or cheat another or the system. Dishonesty can only get to a certain point. 99% of Nigerians are dishonest losers. Buhari please tighten that noose more. At least it may force Nigerians into honest living and stop worshipping evils/criminals/looters.

    1. This ur comment isn't even restricted to d elite alone oo. The average Nigerian always looks for a way to scheme or cheat deir fellow citizen. This cuts across all tribes and generations. We are innately greedy, this why a grp of ppl wld b comfortable with sum1 stealing deir collective wealth as long as small dey reach deir hand and dey are comfortable. They don't mind u not carrying out ur mandate,as long as they are sha seeing deir own money u r free to steal as u like. Ppl are complaining bcos things hv gotten tough. I am grateful that GEJ left. My eyes hv opened and the scales of corruption hav fallen from my eyes. I am not a Buhari loyalist,he isn't any better as long as he doesn't cut down on his own personal as well as his cabinet expenditure. But he has tightened our belt.
