This would sound very controversial and may even get lots of insult from many loyal and committed women in Nigeria but before you insult, take time to think through the thoughts here.

Please stop getting bothered if your hubby has a side chic outside, instead, bother more about how your husband treats you. This is important because the truth is, whether we like it or not, or maybe wish it away or not, 90% of husbands cheat on their wives, of this 90%, 10% of them are not even suspected at all by their wives, only about 10% are faithful for various reasons; upbringing, religion, finance and many more, that is the reality.
Please note this, responsible men are not men who do not cheat on their wives, but men who their family is first irrespective of cheating or not cheating. If your husband provides for you and your household, and loves you and the kids, then he is a good father. Believe me, the good father is still cheating on you and the chances are extremely high.
There are different reasons men cheat. Whether we like it or not, men's sexual urges of attraction are higher than women while women's systems (childbirth, menstruation and hormonal issues) makes it difficult for a man to get satisfied by his wife alone (not an excuse but the fact). Imagine a woman who is pregnant and is been disturbed by pregnancy, people say to the man, don't sleep with her ooo, so where do you want the man to go for sexual satisfaction?
This is not a selfish article but reality in black and white.
Again, has anyone heard the expression, "Men are polygamous in nature?", that's crazy but it's the truth, when a man sleeps with a lady for so long, the biting sensation reduces, that maybe why your hubby doesn't rush at you again like he used to during your dating period and does not make you worn out. It's men's nature and this is another truth.
My advice to women, don't kill yourself checking phones to see girlfriends or side chics, when you know it won't change much but cause issues. Have issues only with hubby if he isn't providing for you, showing you enough love and still cheats on you or maybe he provides for you but he cheats without respect and rubs it in your face as if nothing would happen, perhaps he cheats with your friends. In these cases, he is wicked and you need to speak out for Christ's sake.
But if he takes care of you, respects you and maybe does one or two cheats here and there and hides it from you; loves you and treats you well, please, ignore some messages even if you see them, you could just mention it and let it pass. That is nature.
My advice to men, please, please and please! Love your wife unconditionally, take good care of her but if you don't have money to take care of her and maybe scratch a little for your girlfriend, then don't cheat on your her. Before you give a kobo to a girl, ensure your wife is very comfortable.
For me, this is the truth; I love my wife, I adore her, I provide for her, but she usually has pregnancy stress and I would have to stay away from sex for a while, assure her and be with her, even sleep in the hospital with her but brothers, a few times, I had cheated with a side chic, trust me, I don't forget my condoms to keep her safe. I call her always to make her comfortable, she suspects i'm cheating on her but my caring attitude leaves her confused because I give her time and time again.
I know it's adultery, so please don't preach, this is only but a practical piece, don't be preachy here because I know many pastors that patronise "ashawos" (prostitutes), maybe your pastor is even among them so let's be more practical than religious.
Finally, If you leave your caring man just because he cheats 'with respect' on you, trust me, you may run into one who would cheat without respect. So as long as he treats you like an angel, please let peace reign.

Not only on the topic of sex but on other ones like money, comfort, e.t.c. I assure you, any human would throw rationality to the wind when there's a pressing urge to satisfy.

Whether or not the women on this blog agree with me on this, the truth remain, the ripple effect of several cheating wives will be for men to stop getting married. And believe me, that will only benefit the guys because:
1. That wouldn't stop them from getting what they want most (sex).
2. A lot, and I repeat, a lot of women still depend on their men financially and if we no longer get married, most men would keep their money to themselves.
3. There will be an unbelievable increased rate of prostitution. Cheap ones at that because the more your competitors, the cheaper your service.... There will be women who will work and earn a honest living but the number will be low compared to the number of those that will tow that path, and the whole emotional attachments most women want will be dead and gone. There will be an increased number of baby mamas, too. In the end, I just think women will lose more. Especially in this part of the world where child support is non-existent.
I still think men shouldn't cheat. Matter of fact, I have little respect for men who cheat, especially the ones who do so on their girlfriends. As these days you can sleep with 10 girls in a week without dating any of them. So why ask a lady out when you don't intend on being faithful, with the unimaginable number of them willing to sleep with you without committing yourself?
Also, by cheating on your wives, you are disrespecting yourself because if I consider you good enough to be my wife, then, you are definitely better than all the basic bitches I would cheat on you with. So why fiddle with stones when you have refined pure gold waiting for you?

Just because you are hardwired to desire multiple sex partners doesn't mean you shouldn't try to fight those inner urges, when you know it will give your wife tremendous joy and peace of mind. It's called SACRIFICE. I found it a tad amusing that you advised men to love their wives "unconditionally". You can't love a person unconditionally if you aren't ready to sacrifice personal pleasures every now and then. Perhaps a better advice would be "respect your wives enough by be extra "smart" and crafty so she doesn't "sniff out" your shenanigans".
The truth is rarely popular, but try giving some cushion effect by not rubbing in the fact that a lot of men cheat. Stick to why you cheat and leave pastors out of it. Your wife isn't married to one of those pastors, she's married to you. You cheat because you choose to allow your natural urges control you. It's a natural urge to feel hunger and thirst if the body hasn't consumed food and water within 18-24 hours but some people have disciplined their bodies to remain calm and go for days without food but with little hydration.
I know a lot of men cheat but that doesn't mean wives can't feel pained. As a matter of fact, dear sir, you shouldn't be too comfortable with your wife if she knows you are cheating but acts indifferent. Trust me, not many women are that evolved mentally to be indifferent to their husbands' infidelity. Perhaps you have broken her so badly that she has become too numb to care. Same numbness can compel her not to care if she see danger coming your way. God blessed wives with the intuition to sense danger miles away. She may also have found another outlet to vent her frustrations, it could as well be on the thighs of another man or woman...or both. Some can go the extra mile by poisoning your meals.
You were a bit too cavalier with you words. Men keep breaking women's hearts and expecting them to be grateful because "at least he is providing for you and the kids". Have you stopped to consider that some women prefer the arms of their husbands to a million Naira? Oh yes, some do. They only settle for the money and appear materialistic because they know their husbands are cheating and according to your words, "cannot win the battle". Please don't rub your inability or refusal to fight your urges on being natural even though it is. If you truly love your life, infidelity should not be a lifestyle. It should be one of those weaknesses you cave into once in a while when you're too weak to fight temptation. And you should feel bad each time you fall, unless your wife doesn't mean as much as you think she does to u.
As for women winning the battles their great grandmothers couldn't win, be guided that "victory" means different things to different people. Not all of our great grandfathers' "medical afflictions" came as a result of old age. Some were the handy work of some of our great grandmothers who saw the sufferings and eventual deaths of their husbands as "victory". Like the saying goes, you can hit your chest in a boastful way to a fellow man but never to a woman". Your wife holds the key to your success and your life so tone down the cockiness.
At least try HARD to fight your natural desires. If you fail, then own up to the fact that your were too weak to resist the temptation.

ReplyDeleteThere is no way this poster justified cheating from my understanding but one thing he said is sure, men's libido is different from women's.
Every thing he wrote is absolutely correct. Why do some of us act holier than thou because we are commenting on a blog. So many of you women shouting cheating were once side chicks. An average man has a tendency to cheat and the earlier you come to terms with that the better for your health. This does not mean that it is right to do but let us stop living in a make believe world. Only do your best as a woman to play your part as a good wife and commit your husband to God so he can be one of the 10% of men who try to stay off side chics. It is only a man with a regenerated spirit that can control his sex urge and be satisfied with one woman. May God help our men to embrace Christ and His way of life.

How did you arrive at 90%-10% statistics about cheating men? Bros... you don't have to rope in all the men in order to support your cheating nature.
Even if majority of the men do cheat, that doesn't make it right, or legitimizes the act... it's still very wrong... before man and Almighty.
If you must know, it's not just enough to take care of and provide for your wife, you need to take it a notch further by staying faithful to her too...cos she's also fighting temptations from outside.
So your argument doesn't hold water. Except of cos you dont see it as a big deal if she goes cheating as well

ReplyDeleteOne of the root causes of cheating is marrying a woman you DONT love and respect. When a man marries Miss Desperate and Available, then expect anything. But a man who marries a woman he truly loves will never cheat. Also, the Nigerian mentality and view of choosing a spouse needs to change for cheating to reduce.

Go and get your wife sexy clothes to put on such as gstring pants, mini skirts, bomshort and so on in order for her to look sexy.
