70 year old Maria de la Luz, from Mazatlan, Mexico, has shown local media an ultrasound which she claims proves she is expecting a baby girl...
If correct,she, would become the oldest new mother in history - beating the current record holder by four years.
Maria has revealed the ultrasound scans which she claims confirms she is pregnant with a baby girl.
She said: "They told me it is a girl. Look, you can see her little face."
The woman, who did not reveal any details of the pregnancy including whether she had had IVF treatment, says she first suspected she was pregnant three months ago.
She told local media: "My legs hurt and I was vomiting and felt dizzy.
“Now they have done around 10 ultrasounds in a private clinic and in the (public) social security hospital. The doctors could not believe it."
Maria told reporters that some of her children were not happy with her pregnancy telling her that she was too old to have another baby,
She has an appointment with a gynaecologist on July 18 and she says she is expecting to have a caesarean-delivery because of her age.
Currently, Maria del Carmen Bousada de Lara, from Cadiz, Spain, is the oldest verified mother in the world.
She was aged 66 years and 358 days when she gave birth to twin baby boys, Christian and Pau, in December 2006.

DeleteIt's not even £17.70 for the second child presently dear. It's now £20.30 for the first and £13.70 for subsequent ones. People who had their kids when the rate was higher are still collecting the amount thwy started with. Some people will just sit in Nigeria and yarn dust. If that amount of money can make someone have plenty kids then the person is not well.

ReplyDeleteShe does look good for her age, but I wonder if that shack is where she is planning on raising the child at her age. If you gonna have a baby so late in life at least have a decent home and conveniences around.
