    1. Anonymous pls can I ask you one question? Will you be glad to respond without an insults, for that has been the way some of you respond to an argument here.

First, I'm not holding brief for IPOB but I would want to ask you a simple question. Was there killing and criminality in the East before the emergency of IPOB?

Secondly, do you know no single court in Nigeria has convict any IPOB member over the past eight years? If IPOB are all these you people keep chanting, why no single court has convict just a member to prove a point that they are truly terrorist or assassins. Yet the Nigerian court has over time granted them bail and some even discharged and acquitted.

It's going to one year Kanu was renditioned extraordinary yet the court and the prosecution team are still running around while the defendant is the one begging for a speedy trial. What does that tells you? Do you actually think the government have a solid case over Kanu? If they do, why are they taking forever to prosecute him? Won't they be glad to hurriedly prosecute him as to hang him or imprisoned him? Remember, it was the same thing they did for two years the first time he was granted bail. A man you all are too quick to say committed treason. Why is three years not enough to convict him? If he's actually guilty, would there be need of all this unnecessary adjournment? But here the defendant and his legal team are the ones begging for trial. What does that mean to you?

International communities are keenly watching and understood the game going on in Eastern Nigeria. The whole arrangement is aimed towards giving a dog a bad name inorder to hang it. Since the federal government has no solid case agsibsy Kanu, they have been lobbying the international communities to label IPOB a terrorist organization and as such they will now leverage on it to imprisoned Kanu. This was the reason few weeks ago the government was quick to hurriedly paid Media houses and blog that the UK has recognized IPOB as terrorist organization but their lies were debunked quickly when IPOB directorates reached out to the British office.

In all, I will say, whoever is responsible for all these atrocities, the law should take it cause on them.

Thank you. I await your rejoinder.

    2. Anonymous so sad I couldn't read a rejoinder from you nor anyone else. You see, it's not always good to be chanting a thing you can't prove or defend.

If Niger state happens to be in the East, the killing of three PDP delegates at yesterday primary would have been labeled the act of IPOB. But you see, nobody is talking about it neither will it make a headline cos it's a northern state and not the people they hate so badly to read about.

    3. @Teejay, to answer your questions

First, of course there were killings and crime in the East before the emergence of IPOB. However, these killings were limited to political murders and cult clashes. When IPOB and ESN,with the prodding of Kanu, released hardened criminals from prisons, the era of unknown gunmen began. Everyone knows that the deliberate dismantling of security started after the EndSars debacle.

Secondly, IPOB wasn't a violent group per se. They were only known for mild civil disturbances which is why they were never convicted. The IPOB then can't be said to be the IPOB of now. The present crop of IPOB members are very aggressive and are prepared to harm anyone of opposing views, which I think is an aftermath of the release and initiation of hardened criminals into the group. If you doubt me,stand at upper Iweka and say something against IPOB there.

Third, if you are going to use the slow Nigerian system to judge the pace of Kanu's trial, then you are a joke. In fact,Kanu stood a better chance of winning his first trial but he jumped bail and came back online, spitting worse vitriol. The evidence is online everywhere. Kanu has consistently and persistently demended for money to be donated to arm young guys to defend Biafra from the 'invading Fulani'. Is it mere coincidence that Alaigbo is on fire ever since he formed the ESN? Or should we continue to lie to ourselves that the killings are done by the FG/DSS?

As for international media houses,do you want to deny that you didnt watch the documentary by BBC about the new face of IPOB? Or you want to also pin that on the FG?

I will respect you guys the day you start taking responsibility for all your fuck ups. That is one thing Boko Haram have over IPOB. They admit their shit and deal with the consequences. And if you must say the actual truth, what Kanu has been doing is pure treason. You can't call for secession with lies and violence. He should deal with the consequences of his actions.

    4. People! Go and watch the video. He said that the unknown gunmen which were already in 8 LGs as at the time of his campaign did not fall from the sky, that they live amongst people, rent houses, occupy forests, and YOU (referring to the people of the state) know them but haven't reported out of fear or because YOU are nonchalant. The media outlet decided to twist his words as indicated by the headline and bloggers ran with it. Typical sensationalism

    7. 17.21 you are still saying exactly the same thing. Is it not fellow Igbos that live amongst people, rent houses, occupy forests? This is not Lagos where different tribes migrate to, it's the East!! Face the truth abeg!

    8. AK047, if IPOB is not responsible for the killings, why will they need to go about claiming responsibility? All u have said still remains in the realm of speculation UNTIL the government arrests, tries and proves that the so called UGM are truly members of IPOB, in a manner that justice can TRULY be seen to be done.

    9. @Anon 21:12, instead of coming here to argue blindly, go online and make your research. During the EndSars crisis, Kanu called for the systematic attack of the police and other security apparatus. We all know how that went. It wasn't a coincidence that prison breaks happened all over the South after Kanu called for it,saying that the youths in prison were falsely imprisoned.

Ok,let's leave the EndSars for now. IPOB called for a sit at home every Monday and whenever Kanu was going to appear in court. Boom! Simon Ekpa and his Autopiloters hijacked it and introduced violence to enforce it. Never in the history of sit at homes has it been so violently enforced. If IPOB had never mentioned this sit at home in the first place, we wouldn't be here talking about unnecessary Monday killings.

As I said, before arguing with me ,go and look up on the twitter and Facebook pages of Simon Ekpa, Nelly Ofoegbu,Chinasa Nworu and Omote Biafra. One case study is the murder of the Ogidi youth president who was murdered last year at the peak of the struggle to end Monday sit at home. Simon sent a message ordering his murder and he was murdered barely a week after.

I find it hypocritical that you now depend on the ability of the government to try and prove that the UGM are IPOB members. Same government we have been accusing of leading a fulani agenda. You see how you people speak from both sides of your mouth? Abeg make una try rest small.

  2. At this point I think useful information from the public should be given to the authority to fish out and nab these criminals. There should be no hiding place for criminals like this. The security agencies should double their effort in their pursuit on these killers of our people. One thing that sadden me in all of this is that, these people operates freely in the streets and when they are gone, you see the police and military carrying out mass arrest or killing innocent persons they see on the road. Engage these criminals in a fierce gun battle and neutralize them and the people will be happy about it.

    1. The Killers of your people are well known in your communities. They are your brothers, friends, cousins and boyfriends. They are not anonymous. You don't need the security forces to fish them out and kill them when you are ready

    2. Teejay u have made very salient points. Mine is that Soludo shd go a step further and name the CULPRITS since he is so sure that they are Igbo.

It's not enough to be throwing allegations left and right.

    3. One can't be too sure tagging IPOB the killers. Most of these killers might be fulani boko haram who your president tagged repentant and deployed into our military, some of whom were deployed to the east to cause mayhem. They have captured and killed so many of our innocent youths in the east all in the name of IPOB. The present Nigerian government is of no good to Nigeria in general. They have caused more harm than good.
I don't even want to include the hopeless supreme court governor your president also installed in imo state.

      So sad abeg

  4. I saw this yesterday and was waiting patiently for it to get here.

I hope we are happy now? The igbos all know but some have chosen to blame others. They have put guns into their hands, these animals have tasted blood, they feel powerful but most importantly, invincible!

They are even proud of their alias! Unknown gun men indeed!

Nnamdi Kanu, this is on you.

How can you kill a human not to talk of your own person just to prove what? May the wrath of God visit them first before the law of the land does.
