  1. I have not been there so I cannot tell which is better. Those who has travelled over there can help us out.

  2. If not for the decay and rot in the Nigerian system, I think I would have prefer Nigeria. At least a child grows up to learn the culture of the country he or she comes from.

Our major problem in Nigeria is, institutional failures plus bad leadership.

  4. Being cultured have nothing to do with location. We have well behaved kids in US and we also have spoilt brats here in Nigeria. I know some kids go astray but most kids tow the right path as led by their parents. The bible says "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it" (proverb 22:6) this scripture applies to every kids on earth. No matter where you reside on the surface of the earth, children will grow according to their upbringing.

I have seen children over there that speaks their native language fluently and I have met people here that can't speak their language despite growing up here. It all boils down to upbringing/training.

    2. Yeah.
      USA is better.
It's the values you inculcate in them that they pull through.

With 90% of basic needs in place and craft well tuned, a kid goes places.
For religion, you hold down the Faith if you live right as a parent.

  7. Everywhere has their advantages and disadvantages. I always believed that you should train your kids in Nigeria and them do their uni abroad. But with the way things are happening in Nigeria, I'm not so sure again

  8. i am undecided. However, the confidence that children in the US have even those expensive schools in naija cannot instil it in them. Kids abroad learn independence at a young age. The downside is culture, religion and respect but again it is based on your parenting. If you chase money 365 days, the American society aka the devil will steal your kids. Naija kids are kinder and more respectful than kids trained abroad because the schools, relations, and church instil another discipline. know that if you are not ready to put in the work abroad it may be best to train your kids in Naija
