 Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has vowed that more buildings will be demolished to allow for proper cleanup of the Dosunmu market. Sanwo-Olu disclosed this on Thursday when he visited the market which was gutted by fire on Tuesday.

With the successes recorded by President Bola Tinubu administration’s intervention in the foreign exchange market and resumption of full operations by the refineries, a stronger Naira should be achieved by the first quarter of 2025. Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale made the projection in a briefing to State House Correspondents in Abuja on Thursday.

The Federal Government will recoup its investment on the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway project through 15 years of tolling, Works Minister, Dave Umahi said on Thursday. He also said the N4 billion per kilometer road will be ready in eight years, adding that motorists will pay N3,000 per toll gate.

. Gunmen on Thursday attacked a police checkpoint in Abakaliki and killed a policeman. Police spokesman in Ebonyi, DSP Joshua Ukandu, confirmed the attack and said the gunmen also set the police van on the spot ablaze.

  2. 😂 Tollgate fee - N3,000. Transportation will increase also. We are still not done with high cost of fuel, dollar & electricity which has impacted in cost of living, one way or the other. It is well.
