They just moved my estate to Band A this month but I have not seen their light in 3 days. They deceived us from Monday night - Wednesday afternoon with light that was more than usual but still less than the approved Band A allocation. Now their true colours don show. No light since Wednesday evening but they are saying on their website that our feeder has been giving 20 -22 hours of light all through this week. This country is a mess and I feel like shooting someone sometimes 🤬

He failed all. When he was about to go, he asked them if he also could ask a question. They obliged him, and he said: I understand four of your engines have packed up, and are difficult to replace which is why your production is low. I had thought you were going to ask me if I could fix those engines as an engineer, but no, you chose to ask me questions about logics and English language. Do your machines speak English?
The panel, dumbfounded, looked at each other, and the lead, shamefacedly, asked: Can you fix the engines? “Yes”, he responded, “but no longer as your staff but as a consultant.”
People would always want to take you away from your strength zone and relate with you on a level where they are better than you and can trample on you. By their actions, they want to make you feel worthless so they can determine your price. This is man's way, and the smart ones have mastered this art and always win with it.
Do you know the unfortunate thing, you have also chosen to play at that level with them! You have reduced yourself to their judgement of you; you believe you are no better than the score they apportion you. You forget you are playing on their turf and can never defeat them there. You need to announce your territory and bring them there. Let them come play against you in your zone and let's find out who the true master is.
Stop believing the lies that are being bandied around about you. You are exceptional. You are phenomenal. But, you have to know your turf and always play on it.

Stella, please do a post on the challenges of motherhood (pregnancy, delivery, post-delivery complications , hormones, body changes, libido-changes, raising an infant, toddler, child, teenager, young-adult, irresponsible adult).
Lulu Lee, I totally understand where you are coming from; as a mom and caregiver myself. It is EXHAUSTING as there are NO BREAKS. Either as a SAHM or a working mom. You have almost no time for yourself unless you have the funds & dexterity to outsource some of your duties.
However, it is KEY that you take care of yourself & be happy because you determine the emotional balance of the home. Be kind to yourself.
Noone prepares us for motherhood. We learn as we go.
You must be a bit selfish and carve out even 30 minutes to go for a walk during the day, while listening to music you like. Watch an episode of your series or a podcast (search up SnG on YouTube; those 2 guys keep me laughing). Treat your nails.
Also, say prayers with the family. Start either in the evening or at night before bed. Gradually, you will get strength from there too.
Make the kids clean up after themselves, to reduce some of the chaos.
Make your spouse take them for outings to give you uninterrupted time to complete tasks or just so you can blow off steam.
I could share more tips later.
No matter what, our children will remain blessings to us in Jesus name, amen.

ReplyDeleteSomething terrible happened last night. A shop was completely burnt to the ground and nothing last removed woman's daughter was also burnt but was rush to the hospital. This a Big shop that sales provisions and even prepare Noodles for students down school. All I was saying was how will they survive this hard economy. However when there is life there is hope.
