    1. Yes I thought it was just me that finds it cringe tht Nigerian celebs do this. Or announce new acquisition. Doesn’t it pose a security risk? Besides real wealth doesn’t shout. Nothing like living normal and people find out on their own that ur rich. But the show off looks a bit contrived to me.

I know many of them are into fetish things so maybe it’s a requirement to appease whatever source their success is from.

    2. Why I don’t follow most naija celebs. Esp when I found out they are into dubious things. I follow Only the ones that are into fitness or travel or creative or make me laugh. I find inspiration in those ones and joy there . The rest na ….

  6. What is the reason black people show off their wealth? I for say Nigerians. But them Akata and caribbeans do it too. Shey na insecurity or low self esteem abi wetin. Cus oyinbo will come out with one simple shirt jeans and phone but be the real ones running shit and have millions in their bank account lol. I don’t know . Black people have a long way to go sha. Thing is funny. N it’s purely show off, it’s not to inspire people or anything more noble

    1. That is not all true. Oyinbos are driving their Bentleys and RRs and showing off their wealth too. The women are buying Birkin bags and walking around with 70k watches. They can get a Kia car, carry an Aldo bag and get a Timex or Casio watch, so why they need luxury items? There is a difference between showing off and living at your income level. If Black ppl want to enjoy the finer things in life they should be free to do so, as long as they can comfortably afford it. Him driving his car will not affect who is going to hop on a bike, they will both get to their destinations.

    1. Floyd is entertainment though. He is boasty, but I love his rawness with it. If you gonna be a dyck with money, do it like Floyd, just don’t give af about anybody’s opinion. Folks have different personalities and that is what makes life on earth interesting. Love me some boasty Floyd all day any day. A ballsy man is just as needed as a humble one. I thank God He never made us all the same. So longs we not hurting another it’s all fun. There are rich and poor assholes everywhere.
