According to him, getting married seems like a “stupid step”.
Speaking in an interview with Chude, the singer said he has no plans to marry.
“In my personal opinion, I think it’s a stupid step to get married. That’s my opinion”, he said.
He says marriage is not for him and that his happiness depends on financial stability.
“I need a lot of money to be happy,” Chike said, stressing it’s not greed but a desire for the life he wants.
He also shared that music was never part of his original plan, discovering his passion only after university.

If he had just said he doesn't want to marry and left it that way, then it would have been understandable. I mean, not everyone wants marriage at the end of the day.

@Kelvin, I stand by my words. And my second paragraph is stated so because I believe his parents didn't produce him out of wedlock. Back in the days, procreation was largely done within the confines of marriage unlike what is obtainable now.

Making such a weird remark about marriage is unacceptable. Hence, why I said he'd have subtly said he doesn't want marriage instead of calling it a "stupid step" as though people who go into the institution are "stupid" as well.
