FIFA Penalizes South Africa For Fielding Ineligible Player + Current Stand Of Teams
South Africa’s national team, Bafana Bafana, has been deducted three points after it was discovered that Teboho Mokoena was fielded despite being ineligible to play against Lesotho. In addition to the points deduction, the South African Football Association (SAFA) has been fined $12,500 by FIFA.
