ReplyDeleteIs pregnancy a happy place? I am pregnant and very unhappy. I cannot find any excitement, joy, happiness or expectation in this pregnancy. Married, accomplished and comfortable but this feels like a burden and the nine months now down to six months feels like a lifetime of unbearable commitment to this course. I know I sound over the top ungrateful for God’s blessings but my feelings are very real and valid.
How and where can I find the joy of motherhood people talk about?
I think it's the hormones making you feel this way or the challenges that come with pregnancy.

You don't have to enjoy being pregnant, I don't think many women actually enjoy carrying a big heavy beachball around, change to their senses, pee habit, bowel habits, eating habits, discomfort in sleeping, skin problems, hair problem, and the nausea and vomiting. You don't have to like being in the pregnant state, that is totally understandable. Just remember its for a short time and not eternal. Give birth to your child and love them and treat them well. There are billions of women on the planet, I don't think they all feel the same about everything, even pregnancy. In fact, we had to create romanticism to make many things in life bearable. Thank goodness you have a spouse, support and the finances to care for your child. In time your feelings will change, and you will grow to love much about motherhood.

As a short man, I was used by a girl who pretended to love me. Bills were paid for both girlfriend and family members.

ReplyDeleteI was in the bank yesterday to get some issues sorted out. For over 2 months now, there's been this bank staff who finds one reason or another to bring up small talk with me whenever she sees me in the banking hall. I didn't place much meaning to it. Not until yesterday.
She saw me, hurriedly dispatched the customer she was with, left her enclosure and walked up to me. She inquired what it was I needed done, collected the form I held and proceeded to do all the legwork required and got all the signatures and stamping necessary. I was befuddled actually. 40 minutes later, she came back, held my hand and led me to the front of the CSU queue. She asked one of the staff there to see to it that I was properly settled.
I didn't want to get ahead of myself and I thought she was just being nice. As she turned to leave she faintly mentioned that she would be in the bulk room. Information I certainly didn't need. I didn't take the bait. Wasn't exactly sure there was one.
When I was done, I left the banking hall and just as I was about approaching the gate, I had a call from behind. I turned and she was the one. She said I forgot something and proceeded to hand me a sheet of paper before walking away. It was blank. I turned it over and a name and phone number was written on it. Hers.
This lady knows I'm married. When I had issues with my son's zeca account, she was the staff who attended to it. But then again, maybe I was the one seeing what wasn't there.
You might wonder if I later called her. Yes I did. She wanted us to hang out this evening. She wasn't equivocative on that. I told her today won't be possible. A poor choice on my part because she later sent a message saying the offer stands anytime I'm available.
I shared the whole thing with the Mrs and she said I caused it because I flirt when I talk with women. I have never purposely done that. It is my natural way of speaking.
I have no intentions of ever sitting out with that lady and I never will. I'll be lying though if I say she didn't tick my boxes and that may have stopped me from telling her off. An honest mistake.

DeleteI was advised sometime ago never to date a banker. The person actually gave a reason but I don't think that will be fair enough to lump all of them. I believe there are always an exception to every thing in life.
Finally, Baba if you're not careful, you'll fall on this. Women are so strong to pull down even the strongest of men. It takes supernatural grace and great discipline to turn down a seductive woman most especially when she is the spec you have always craved for. It doesn't matter whether you're married or not. Even men at the pulpit have fallen to women seduction.
If a woman is determined to get you date her or need you for sexual purpose and satisfaction, she'll stop at no point to see that achieved.
Calling her was where you got it all wrong. You shouldn't have called her. If you actually don't wanna sit out with her, you should have let your wife do the calling and politely tell her she's married to you. That way she won't stretch it further. But then, I guess you love the chase and maybe wants to explore. After all, varieties they say, is the spice of life.
Telling your woman to me makes no meaning or sense. If you still wanna cheat. You'll comfortably do that without her knowledge. If you had said you gave your woman her number to caution her, then I would have known you're serious about your claim not wanting to go out on a date with her.

Majority of the consultants don japa. 60% percent of the drugs and drinks sold are are fake. Someone said they inject chicken with a substance a day before selling it so it looks bigger and weighs more. Let's not talk about the high cost of things. . It's expensive yet fake Banks are acting like gods. They charge you at every debit/credit and still charge you at the end of the month for electronic transfer. . No one is asking questions. No regulatory agency is working for the masses rather they are working hard to meet up with remitting money to the government. People have resumed flashing to get your attention. They flash expecting you to call due to high cost of airtime/data. Las las everyone will be fine
