  10. If we are in a country that cares for it's citizens, there will have been a massive protest against Dangote drivers or ban them for months but what do I know. Does the rich travel by road?

  11. So.many things have happened around me.for.the past two weeks that most nights it's difficult to sleep. The rate young people are dying suddenly is alarming.
I don't envy any doctor or anyone that works in the hospital. Their eyes have seen shege.

I always patronize a woman that sells roasted corn around me. She is always smiling with her small small children running around her. Last Friday, I stopped to buy corn as usual but met her absence, I asked her neighbour about her and was told she is dead. How? Was told she did.morning devotion with her children, lay down on the cushion and that was it. That same day before I got to her stand, I stopped at an elderly woman's shop where I buy fresh tomatoes and pepper. She was not there. I.met another lady selling oranges. What of mama,.she said mama died last week. What happened,.she went to a popular village market they buy things, fall at the market and that was it.

This Monday the 48 years young woman who owns a school two buildings from mine passed away. I saw people gathered outside the premises and I assumed it was back-to-school preparations. I heard them singing solem hymns and asked someone and was told “She’s gone,” She complained of a severe headache and by the next day, she was no more.

I spoke with my neighbor this evening. She told me the death was sudden, and what makes it even more heartbreaking is that no one, not even her husband knows the details of how she ran her school. Her bank accounts, her plans, her system, all locked away with her. What happens to the children? The staff? The dream she built?

It’s sobering. This life… is really so fragile. One moment we’re here, planning for tomorrow, and the next… we’re a memory someone else is struggling to understand😭😭😭.

I don’t even know if I should laugh or cry. I better go look for a newspaper delivery route or something. Stellz, I may finally have to apply for one of your giveaways after all these years. I don’t want to have to eat sardine and crackers this Christmas😭😭😭

  15. Plz is it bad for a wife to know how much her husband is earning?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Why do you want to know, especially if the man meets most of the family's bills? What about the husband knowing what the wife earns and the wife making meaningful contribution to the family's bills (not tomatoes and okro, two thousand in a month)? Very selfish and entitled wives.

Anytime I travel without my son and my daughter, when I call on the phone to check on them after greeting and all that I will tell them don't worry I will come back soon. My son will tell me mummy don't come back while my daughter will say mummy please come back am missing you, I don't know what I did to that boy. I know some children that can not stay a day without their mother. Is there anyway am failing as a mother?

No some kids are like that, my son is so so so clingy but you see my second daughter she will say I should stay late at work all because of cartoon, I usually restrict them whenever it’s 7pm but on days when there’s no light once I call she’ll be like “mummy are you at the gate?” My daddy is just looking at us and not telling us any stories πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I will now be like oh sorry I’m not coming home today again come abd hear the “oh mummy I miss you just be coming home πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

    3. You are not failing as a mum. Some children just love freedom most times. My little son can follow me anywhere if I allow him. My daughter then, will just wave me goodbye from the door.
