''Many of you are so desperate to twist everything into an ethnic battle that you’ve now turned a clear court judgment into “Yoruba vs Igbo.”

Justice James Omotosho sentenced Kanu to life imprisonment after convicting him on seven terrorism-related charges: incitement, violent sit-at-home orders, threats to diplomatic missions, and illegal transmission equipment.
These are legal findings, not tribal slights.
When it was time to defend himself, Kanu was busy shouting “Where is the law?” while his lawyers peddled a spin about Igbo persecution, framing him as some freedom fighter instead of addressing the mountain of evidence built from his own recorded words.
The judgment came from five uninterrupted hours of evidence cut directly from his broadcasts.
Kanu turned his trial into a circus.
His lawyers joined him, creating content, performing for social media, and chasing clout instead of doing the bare minimum required to defend a client facing grave charges.
There was no respect, no remorse, no accountability, and absolutely no regard for the lives and communities shattered by the vi0lence he ordered.
Even after his conviction, instead of starting the prep of appeal, his “legal consultants” are busy fanning ethnic flames.
And the tribal spin becomes even more absurd when you consider that just days earlier, an ISWAP commander, Hussaini Ismaila, pleaded guilty to terr0rism, and accepted responsibility. He was sentenced to 20 years by Justice Emeka Nwite , an Igbo judge.
No ethnic think pieces. No meltdowns. No performative outrage. He owned his actions, leaned into the protections of the law by taking a plea deal, and faced consequences.
Meanwhile, Kanu’s team refused for months to open his defence.
He called no witnesses.
Filed and withdrew motions like it was child's play
Presented no evidence.
Why did his lawyers choose theatrics over legal strategy?
The answer is simple: Kanu truly believed he was untouchable , that his noise, clout, and human collateral damage had bought him immunity and negotiation, not trial. He truly belives only he decides who lives and who d!es. That he could make orders in the South East and no one dares disobey. Those are his exact words by the way.
Yet now, after conviction, some of you sprint back to the same tired excuse of tribal persecution.
Obi even said he shouldn't have been arrested. Igbo influencers even the ones who couldn't set foot in their villages due to ESN occupation were also spinning tales about tribal persecution.
This is how mental marginalization multiplies: convenient ethnic baiting conditioning an entire generation to see themselves as permanent victims.
What used to be silly is now dangerously stuwwpid because even the maleducated loudspeakers keep repeating lies with unbridled confidence until those lies calcify into inherited myths.
And for what?
To defend a man who couldn’t even open his own defence to defend himself against his own orders.
A man who turned Igb0 suffering into content.
A man who plans to use the de*aths and dest*ruction of innocent Igbo people as bargaining chip while influencers and politicians performed for applause that isn’t worth the lives of their Igbo victims.
This case is not Igbo vs Yoruba. North or South.
It is not selective justice.
It is not ethnic targeting.
It is about pandering and trying to stage manage the truth in a way that is dangerous and sets bad precedents.
One defendant cooperated with the legal process.
The other sab0taged his own defence and was convicted with the evidence he refusedto defend.
But both his disciples and apologists are jumping over themselves to twist the facts.
You will not gaslight us. We did not re-write the FACTS of the past 10 years!
IPOB/ESN turned on the people. Igbo people.
It happened. We lived it. Some survived it. And the worse thing to do to the victims , is say that their lives and pain did not matter.

Ignored every opportunity to defend himself.
Disrupted proceedings with “Show me the law.”
And many of you cheered , as though a terr0rism trial was his radio show.
But nobody is asking the real question:
What gave Kanu the audacity to move m*a*d in court?

She spoke well and rightly. The Judge indeed gave a fair judgment.
ReplyDeleteKanu is brilliant and perhaps knowledgeable, but he is foolish, and lacks wisdom, with his anger issues.

ReplyDeleteSee I have not said anything about mnk sentence cuz when I start to type I become really angry. That sentence was well deserved, did you hear me?? WELL DESERVED
If you didn't loose any one cuz of the bull shit going on the South East, it's easy for you to say whatever you like, I lost someone ok
The first time I had the misfortune to listen to mnk on his channel, I was like who is this anuofia?? I despised him and all he stood for, I saw Igbo people change religion and became fanatics, speaking through their anus like kanu
He caused the unrest in the East and it can never be well with him
I have a lot more to say but let me not even bother, let him rot in jail in 10 lifetimes and go to hell in 100 lifetimes . Ozu nwuru anwu
Gifty darling, this your outburst will make 'his righteous tomfoolery' aka teejay to banish you from SDK blog ooh. You know intellectually,he is traveling with a very light luggage, so he will just jump into your comment and make it all about how Kanu and him will start rationing the air you breath.
DeleteI saw Igbo people changing religion and becoming fanatics and speaking through their anus like Kanu. What tribe are you again? A click on the internet brings out his name. What is your name again?. ozu
