President Tinubu Sympathises With Boxer Anthony Joshua Over Tragic Accident

Boxer Anthony Joshua was injured in a car crash in Nigeria on Monday, December 29, 2025, while traveling in a Lexus SUV on the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway. The crash was fatal for two other passengers who were in the same vehicle.

''AJ,
I extend my deep sympathies to you following the tragic accident on the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway, which claimed two precious lives and caused you injuries. This immense tragedy casts a deep shadow on this season.

I sympathise with you and your family as you bear the emotional weight of this unfortunate incident. As a sportsman, you have always shown courage, discipline, and unwavering love for our country.

These are qualities that have made you a source of national pride. In moments like this, we must encourage one another as brothers and sisters with a shared destiny. I pray for strength, wisdom, and grace for you during this painful period.

May God grant you a speedy recovery and repose to the souls of the departed.

 ~ Bola Ahmed Tinubu''

  12. See eh, as many are born daily, so are many dying. While death may be inevitable to mankind, premature death is not Gods plan for us and it does not give him glory. If you are Nigerian, pls Hold unto God, especially if you have some light/talent/greatness in you or aspire to. The devil is very wicked and daily looking for souls to devour. The government no send you, the broken system of Naija can easily be used to cause more destruction. AJ, you have been given a second chance at life. I can't imagine the pain you feel, but I hope it makes you stronger and somewhat has a positive impact on your life. The government will call you when you get better, pls use your platform and get them to make changes to our road safety. If you can. If you decide not to semd Nigeria again, I completely understand. Wish you well.

  13. What is FRSC doing?
There are numerous stationary trucks parked indiscriminately on our roads. They dont even park on the curbs!!!

In traffic we drive side by side with tankers filled with fuel! In saner climes they move in the deadbolt rhe night to avoid collisions and explosions.

I wonder when we'd ever get it right in nigeria

Na to dey share money Ugandan na im our govt know

    1. But what stop people from driving carefully under such circumstances? Nigerians always blaming the government for everything when they themselves are not good at obeying any law whatsoever.
