Justice Emeka Nwite granted the order after the EFCC filed an ex parte application, arguing that the properties located across Abuja, Kebbi, Kano, and Kaduna are reasonably suspected to be proceeds of unlawful activities.
The court also directed that the order be published in a national newspaper, giving Malami and any other interested parties 14 days to show cause why the assets should not be permanently forfeited to the Federal Government.
