She says after confronting Committee Chairman Titus Zam in his office she was told that being a North Central senator does not automatically make one a committee member and that the chairman follows certain protocols...
She also alleges a phone used by her staff to record the exchange was seized and handed to the chairman..
Senator Akpoti insists the omission was deliberate, demands inclusion in NCDC communications and processes, and vows to pursue lawful remedies...
She also says the act forms part of a pattern of attempts to frustrate her work, and affirms she will not be intimidated or allow Kogi Central to be sidelined from development initiatives.
Isn't it obvious? They sha wamt to frustrate and make her irrelevant in the senate.

DeleteThere are 6 states in the North Central with each state having 3 Senators; is it all the 18 senators from the North Central that are members of the committee - No!
This troublesome lady know that a lot of people will just react emotionally without thinking the matter through. How can you force yourself into a committee you are not a member of? There is a selection committee in place and that is why they call it lobbying in parliamentary practice all over the world, to get yourself into committees you are interested in.
I won't be surprised if Aisha Yusuf and Mama Pee join her in their usual irrelevant protest tomorrow

Is every SS senator a member of the NDDC committee? Even the FCT senator is a mere floor member of the committee on FCT.
ReplyDeletethis is the same history of disobeying laid down process and procedure without research and choosing drama instead.
If you're not a member, you are not to be invited. Verify first before writing petition by yourself for yourself again and recruiting uninformed lawyers and activists to act drama. Even as a member, you cannot simply barge into offices but must follow laid down procedure for laying complaints instead of shouting from the wrong seat and then shouting harassment that your husband's doublespeak countered. Pity the uninformed and sentimental Nigerians who will start vibrating over this .
She is campaigning for 2027 that is all
