MOVIE: TWO BRIDES AND A BABY.
Born in Lagos Nigeria, on the 28th of April 1983, Okey is blessed with raw
acting talent and a warm personality.
This new actor who is vastly making his way to the top, takes pride in studying every character he has to portray and He is producer's delight anyday.....so i hear.
Okey started his journey into showbiz in 2000 as a model and has featured in several fashion shows for top Nigerian designers like Zizi Cardow, Steve Ray, I-dee couture and a host of others. et al.
He also did a couple of photo shoot for Guiness Extra Smooth, Gordons Spark and was the face of Zooto fashions.
He veered into Nollywood in 2006 when he was selected to be a housemate in the second season of AMBO.
he has featured in movies with top producers and directors like Emem Isong, Lancelot Imaseun,
Desmond Elliot, Aquila Njamah, Teco Benson and Charles Novia.
Okey is currently working on two projects; Alan Poza a Charles Novia
production which will have him star alongside the likes of Oc Ukeje,
Beverly Naya, Lala Akindoju and Nobert Young
He also stars in movie ' Blood In The Lagoon' a
Teco Benson film in which he stars alongside the likes of Omotola Jalade
Ekeinde and Ufuoma Ejenobor.
H e has featured in several other movies such as he
has featured in major hits like -Fatal Imagination, Rivals, Cash Money,
Sweet Tomorrow, Kidnap amongst others.
Two brides and a baby will be his first nomination in any category as an actor!
Well to say the truth some nollywood actors have been over recycled but its time to bring in 'new blood' into nollywood so i am really hoping Okey wins this category and takes his career to the next level.
He is a welcome change....watch two brides and a baby and you will see why he just had to be nominated.!
