Saheed Balogun Wants Estranged Wife Fathia Balogun To Drop His Name?.

Rumour has it that Actor Saheed Balogun wants his Actor ex wife Fathia to drop his name…''Balogun''

A few years back,after their bitter break up,Saheed was quoted to have said “She is my ex. As for my name that she is still answering, the deed will be done soon. The Nigerian law says that after three or four years, you can do something about it. If somebody wants to keep my name, what of the new person coming in? This has nothing to do with grudges.”

Fathia was equally quoted as saying “I laugh, my name is Fathia Balogun and it’s going to remain Balogun; nobody can ever change that and nobody can stop me from answering that name.”

I don't know why this is happening but since she acquired some amount of fame with the Balogun name,isn't she entitled to retain that name irrespective of whether she is still married to him or not?

What does the Nigerian law actually say regarding situations like this?

She has worked hard with that name and i think it would be unfair to ask her to drop it…Saheed should take several seats abeg,there are lots of people answering the name 'BALOGUN' who are not related to him,he should regard Fathia as one of these people.

Fathia has two kids as well for him,isn't that enough reason?
