Nigerian Young Professionals Forum To Produce Nigeria's Youngest President By 2019!

Nigerian Young Professionals Forum (NYPF) is a non-profit organization formed by Bayelsa native, Moses Siasia. Siasia’s finances are accredited to his investments in Engineering, Real Estate, Oil and gas, Agro Processing and Project Management.

Siasia formed NYPF to empower young people, initially those from the Niger Delta, by creating jobs and encouraging them to take a more active role in politics and social economic issues. Today, NYPF has amassed a network of young professionals from over 13 countries around the globe, with summits held in London, New York and many other cities.

NYPF has a membership of over Ten Million Nigerian Young Professional between the ages of 18 and 40 and is open to EVERYONE from all geo-political zones across Nigeria, including Nigerian Young Professionals living in Diaspora.

On October 31st, Moses Siasia in collaboration with Chima Anyaso (South-East regional Chairman of NYPF) inaugurated the South-East NYPF office in Owerri, Imo state.

In attendance was the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, His Excellency Emeka Ihedioha, Aspiring Senator, Dr. Chris Asoluka, and Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of NEPAL Oil and Gas Services Limited, Barrister Ngozi Ekeoma. Over 180 Young Professionals attended the event and registered to become members of NYPF.

Just a few months ago on the 9th of August 2014 in Abuja, Nigeria, President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan (GCFR) and the Minister of Finance and Economy, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, were both in attendance of NYPF’s International Summit. During this event Mr. President pledged his allegiance to NYPF, he stated “I think what the youth should do now is to come together and I will support you, and take a bill to the National Assembly to amend some discriminatory provision of the constitution in terms of age.”

Although NYPF is a non-partisan organization, the goal is to produce the YOUNGEST PRESIDENT IN NIGERIAN HISTORY BY 2019! 60% of the Nigerian population is made up of young people; therefore, young Nigerians embody the power and right to play a substantial role in Nigerian political, social and economic sectors.

  19. This is a great initiative, but are the youths willing to contest against the old men with money and influence? And are the old men willing to leave? With all these 2nd term governors aspiring to be senators and by 2019, more of the current 1st term governors will be aspiring to be senators. Also, Atiku and co will still be interested in contesting for the presidency.
