Good morning! Here are things you need to know this morning according to dailypostng

- A former Head of State and presidential aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, General Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, has lambasted the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for accusing him of benefiting from Boko Haram insurgency.

The former warlord expressed displeasure with the manner the PDP goes about rubbishing his image to score cheap political points.
The PDP had in a statement through its Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh accused the Gen. Buhari (retd), of trying to make political gains from the war against Boko Haram, by stating that he will end Boko Haram insurgency in a few months, if elected.

Reacting to the claim, Buhari in a statement through his media aide,
Rotimi Fashakin described the ruling PDP as a visionles party.
The APC leader while describing the claim as fallacy and dubious maintained that he won’t be distracted by the already crashing umbrella.
The statement read that he “is disheartened by the grotesque characterization of his personality in a statement, released on 3rd December, 2014 by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). He is horrified by the bare-faced falsehood, insidious fallacy and scurrilous untruth contained in the press statement of the ruling party, just for the purpose of cheap political agenda; bearing similarities with the despicable Emperor Nero who was fiddling while Rome burned.

- Report says over 4,520 delegates on Friday night pledged their support for Governor Kashim Shettima as the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC in the 2015 Governorship elections in Borno State. The affirmation came after the party’s primary election that held on Friday evening at the Elkanemi Sports Centre in
Maiduguri.

- In an effort to ensure that PDP holds its Primaries free of any form of rancour, Governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, like his Enugu state counterpart, Governor Sullivan Chime withdrawn from the senatorial race. Report says he withdrew from the race after a meeting with President Goodluck Jonathan, the National Chairman of the PDP, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu; and the senator representing Delta South Senatorial District, James Manager.

-. Following his withdrawal from the PDP primaries in Benue State, there are indications that formal National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Senator Banabas Gemade may be heading to the opposition All Progressives Congress, APC. Report says his decision was to ensure that he contests for the Senatorial position in the state.

-Mohammed Abacha, son of late Head of State, General Sani Abacha, has vowed to dislodge the ‘Kwakwansia’ out of the state in 2015.

-Justice Kazeem Alogba of a Lagos high court, Ikeja has ordered parties in a suit seeking to stop Senator Musiliu Obanikoro from contesting the December 8, 2014 governorship primaries of the People Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos to maintain the status quo...The applicants in the suit, who are members of the party, include Micheal Babatunde Ogun, Suleiman Olayinka Saheed and Wasiu Adeniyi Odusan.

Joined as defendants alongside Senator Obanikoro are the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the PDP.The trial judge, Justice Kazeem Alogba refered parties to the admonition in the decision of judges of the Supreme Court in a suit, Ojukwu versus government of Lagos State 1986 NWLR PT. 86 .

Rapper, M.I Abaga has stated that Nigerian girls are the most decent in the world.
In a recent chat with a magazine, the ‘Chairman’, as he is also known, commended Nigerian girls for being decent in comparison to girls from other countries.

He said, “Let me first say this, Nigerian girls are more decent. I tell you why? Fans in other countries go out of their ways for celebrities to sleep with them. But our girls are very decent. However, what I try to do in most cases is to stay in my hotel room anytime I go to event. That means, if you don’t want to, nobody would force you. I show my female fans a lot of respect.

“The love I have for them is not sexual. It is an appreciative love. The contact can now become sexual the more you communicate. The best thing is when they show you love, show them love; when they bless you, you bless them; when they greet you, you greet them; and you part ways. I think that’s the best way,” he added.

On how he has managed to stay scandal free, he said “I can’t really say how I have been able to achieve that, but I love to keep my life private. I mind my business. That’s one of the reasons I have been scandal free, because ‘nobody holy pass.’

“I’m sure there are naked pictures of me; I’m sure there is someone outside that wants to blackmail me; but would you agree if they tell you it’s my naked picture? No! Why? Because MI is a simple guy, he would never involve himself in such scandal. That’s when respect comes in. I respect myself; respect people as much as I want to be respected.”

  2. If they have any proof that buhari and his cohorts are responsible for all the boko haram palava, then he should be arrested and charged. But if they don't have any proof and are working on meresay, they should shut it up already. We tired of hearing the same lines. Tired of the blame game. Tired of all the rigmarolling.

The northerners can't even go to school in peace. Most schools have been shut down

    1. Fab mum shut up, use your head to think.....the most affected in the north have been Christians before now....do u think everyone in the north is Muslim? Do u know 80 percent of chibok girls were Christians? Do you know the number of churches that have been destroyed so far? ...that aside the north is suffering cos the northern/ elite are hobnobbing with boko arm to make the country ungovernable so they have an excuse to come back and rule.....the northern leaders have never cared for the masses and they still do not care...buhari cannot be trusted cos he has made utterances with proof about using violence and blood flowing if the north doesn't cone back to rule....boko haram ideology is basically radical Islamic fundamental ideology to Islamise the world and overthrow so called western influenced govts.....the same thing happening with ISIS, al-shebab and co....this evil is not only in Nigeria but because of the laxity in our security situation the politicians are using it to thier advantage......Christians need to wake up and pray cos the issue is first religious then political...

  14. If anybody will benefit from the BH insurgency in 2015, its Jonathan. After most of the Buhari-voting North has been wiped out, those remaining would be too scared to vote and the ball would be firmly in his court. Meanwhile MI the chairman, biko NOBODY wants to see your nude pics. That would be too traumatic.

    1. Na lie. Wiped out ke? The northerners are plenty no be small o. The people they are killing are the northern minorities. They are human beings too dont get me wrong, but let's just say they feel that they are politically inconsequential. They are bombing the villages but moving to the cities though. However the killing should stop.

The blame trading game btw the two political parties has been on for long,so this is not new,Buhari is reacting now cos his long silence on all these accusations has meant consent to d opposition! Whoever advised him is a genius, they should leave this innocent man alone,at least he has gud plans for nigeria and dats what we all are after his political party notwithstanding!

  21. Most of you want GEJ to do something concerning some utterances made by some politians from the north. It is not easy to do that because he said that one thing he doesn't want is for Nigeria to be split up;so touching them is like touching the heart beat of the north and the retaliation will be better imagined than seen.GEJ is like a man stock BTW breaking up his marriage by loosing his wife(because no woman will accept you to chase the mother away because you dont like her)or chase away a mother in law that is a pain in the ass to him

  23. Haba Stella!!! When and how does the description "warlord" become apt to use for Buhari?

That is quite derogatory and an OBVIOUS LIE. You can't want to progress he lying o!

He was a Military Head of State and was C-In-C of the Nigerian Armed Forces. Please stop the hatred, it doesn't paint you in good light.
