Desmond Elliott Called Out On Facebook.

I saw this on facebook, and the comments thereafter were really bad. A lot of people registered their resentment towards Nollywood actor Desmond Olushola Elliott for displaying alcohol during his street campaign..they tagged it "gutterish'.

Some people said that they've lost their respect for him because he's supposed to be an ambassador and a role model to the youth. Asking further, what morals he intends to teach by such a display. They said that they supported him during the primaries but now regret it. Chaiii.

They expressed that after this show he put up, that they had lost their confidence in him and his ability to be trusted as the "youth Messiah" in his constituency.. gobe!

Someone even said that he's acting like he won already when the election proper is yet to take place, and should have been on his best behaviour,Lol.

The embittered facebookers ranted that they saw a side of Desmond they never knew existed. Thus, they captioned this pic  "a show of shame and irresponsibility"..

na wa o..Desmond don enter.

They finished the man beside him too, that as old as he is he couldn't caution Desmond. Lol ... No be me talk am o. Lol.Ok bye

I think that Desmond's PR for his campaign may need to address this matter...Afterall he was just holding the bottles and not gulping as is being insinuated..lol

  38. I've heard that PDP photoshopped the bottles of water off their hands and inserted champagne bottles.

I go with that reasoning because it's far fetched that Desmond would have no where else to drink champagne than on a campaign vehicle.

His PR people need to release the original photo to silence the jobless PDP magicians forever.

  59. WHY NIGERIANS TRUST PRESIDENT GOODLUCK FOR 2ND TERM.
    1. President Jonathan is the first Nigerian President to make sure there is a Federal University in each states of the federation. He established 9 new federal universities to make sure the 36 states of the Nation have a federal university.
    2. Since assuming office in May 29, 2011, President Goodluck Jonathan's economic team has been implementing far-reaching reforms and policies conceived in the economic blue print which seek, among other things, to revive the country's infrastructure, diversify the economy from oil and create a vibrant economy.
    3. In April 6, 2014 Nigeria became the largest and biggest economy in Africa, after rebase of its GDP. The president also commented on that saying, " Our Gross Domestic Product was rebased to give an accurate picture of where we are as a nation. I am glad to report to you that Nigeria is officially the largest economy in Africa with a Gross Domestic Product of $510 billion which also places us as the 26th largest economy in the world; while this calls for celebration, I personally cannot celebrate until all Nigerians can feel the positive impact of our growth."
    4. The Ministry of Transport has produced a 25 years strategic vision for Nigeria Railways and is rehabilitating several railway corridors including the Lagos-Ibadan- Ilorin-Jebba-Minna-Kaduna-Zaria-Kano with branch line from Zaria-Kaura Namoda; the Lagos-Abuja high speed (896 km); the Zaria-Kaura Namoda-Sokoto-Illela (640 km); East-West line from Benin-Agbor-Asaba-Owerri-Aba with a spur line to Onitsha -Nnewi (323 km) and coastal line Benin-Sapele-Warri-Yenogoa-PortHarcourt-Uyo-Calabar.
    5. The President had on several occasions reiterated the commitment of his administration to make Nigeria a better place and a global economic power, using the 2012-2015 Medium Term Fiscal Framework(MTFF) and Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) as the linchpin. Federal University, Lafia, Nasarawa State.- North Central, was established under the administration of President Jonathan.
    6. The Youth are supporting Jonathan because of his success in agricultural sector, which was recognised on a global scale in 2012 when the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations gave an award to Nigeria for achieving the millennium Development Goal on hunger by reducing the number of hungry people in the country. According to Mr. President "This milestone was achieved three years ahead of the 2015 target date set for the Millennium Development Goals! While we are delighted at this recognition, we know our job is only done when not one Nigerian goes to bed hungry."
    7. The massive transformation of the NNPC, the passage and implementation of the Nigerian Content Act, the push for the passage of the Petroleum Industry Bill, the implementation of the Gas master plan as well as achievement of improved relations with critical stakeholders across the oil and gas value chain, we're among practical measures through which the administration has ensured unprecedented stability in the supply and distribution of petroleum products across the country.
    8. President Goodluck Jonathan is the first President and commander in chief of the armed forces that ordered the enlistment of female cadets in the foremost and only military university in Africa, the Nigerian Defense Academy (NDA).
    9. Government is pursuing certain policy measures to reinvigorate various sectors of the economy and enhance their employment generating potentials, including implementing a youth employment safety net support programme that includes conditional cash transfer and vocational training.
    10. The Jonathan administration launched the Energy Efficiency and Energy Conversation Lighting Scheme. This is to promote and encourage the use of energy efficient bulbs and lighting systems in order to create an energy conversation culture.
