Ash Wednesday

....Genesis 3:19: “For dust you are and to dust you shall return.”

Christians all over the world today are not supposed to eat any beef...none in any disguised form.

So far so good,i have not eaten any ...who has and who hasnt?....who forgot?

Ash Wednesday is marked 46 days before Easter Sunday

Although Lent lasts for six weeks, Sundays are not included as they are considered a day for worship and rest.
Ash Wednesday is marked 46 days before Easter Sunday, which is on 5 April this year, to imitate the full 40 days Jesus spent fasting in a desert before being blessed by John the Baptist.

Those growing up days,we used to be told if you eat any beef, you have eaten the flesh of Jesus and any time longa throat made me fall,I would pray ''God abeg na meat i eat,not your flesh oh,abeg forgive me oh''.

Happy fasting to all those planning to join in the lent.

  21. Ooh it's Easter Season already. Stella I ate meat oo, steak n stockfish inside bitter leaf soup. E remain to wash it down wit palmwine.
Dat one is far from me for now.
It's time for serious prayers once again. I need to hear some things from God, direct. Praying for Nigeria too.
Can't wait to mix my own local Barley's Irish Cream ....chilled Small Guiness Stout+blocked can of fresh yoghurt drink+Emene palmwine(obiri dike aka na ani). D creamy drink is outta dis world. I gulp by 9pm and wake d next day at 9am. Eligwe! Make Easter come sharp sharp. My throat dey itch me.

Ehen Stella biko I saw ur red ink about Smoothies on IHN. There are some coded steps to take while making smoothies to arrive at special tastes n flavor. Eg, if u want to blend coconut and red grapes, u don't just blend to drink, u roast d coconut on low heat till brown, not burnt o, so d sugar will come out well, then u leave d grapes(pls wash wit vinegar) under d sun to dry up a bit so d flavor will come out well. D mint leaf u add 3tiny leaves per full glass.

I got solid procedure for jollof rice, I aint giving u till u repent from 'chewing my comments AFTER DISAPPROVAL"
